5 Common Questions and Answers: Q: Will this book cure my depression and anxiety? A: This book offers simple steps to improve mental health, with the goal of overcoming depression and anxiety. It has completely eradicated depression and anxiety in the lives of many individuals, not just masked the symptoms. The exercises and advice in this book facilitate one in changing their negative pattern of thinking, resulting in the termination of their depression and anxiety. Following the advice from this book, one can expect to eliminate their depression and anxiety or at least improve their condition. Q: Is this a book about one women s story with depression? Or will it help me overcome depression and anxiety? A: While there are a few personal examples from the life of the author, the majority of the content, and the primary goal of the book is to assist one in overcoming depression and anxiety. It is classified as a religious, self-help book, not a biography. Q: Why are women more likely to have depression and anxiety? A: Most studies suggest women are more likely to be depressed than men; however, due to the emotional nature of the illness, many men are reluctant to divulge their struggles with depression, which could explain the statistic.
