4 Client Successes Front Page Leverage Challenge: The Chicago Tribune was overshadowed in its community support by other philanthropic organizations. Strategy & Solution: Davidoff guided the Tribune to play to its strong media assets: the reach and influence of its media portfolio. Davidoff developed a new brand identity for the Tribune s community giving program and a popular multi-media advertising campaign. Marketing Turn-On Challenge: Industrial Buyers Consortium (IBC) wanted to complement its sales-driven business with a solid marketing presence to more effectively sell to B2B purchasing agents. Strategy & Solution: Davidoff recommended IBC make its on-line presence a priority and distinguish itself among its big-box competitors. Davidoff delivered a new brand positioning, enhanced e-content and a new web site, significantly elevating IBC in organic search. Conferences For Good Challenge: The Council on Foundations, a national association of philanthropic organizations, had just begun a major reorganization. With three annual conferences to produce, the Council retained Davidoff to serve as its interim department for conference marketing and management. Strategy & Solution: Leading the Council s staff and other consultants, Davidoff instilled the principles of accountability, urgency and excellence to produce three conferences in ten months. The Council leveraged these events to enhance its philanthropic thought leadership.
