We do this by considering several factors: Size, shape and design This depends on your future plans for the business. If the nature of your day-to-day work might change, your chosen van needs to be flexible enough to adapt. For example, you might currently only need a payload of one tonne. But if your business expands, you might start carrying two tonnes. Your vans should have the capability to manage this. Consider your payload length too, especially if you re carrying bulky or irregularly-shaped cargo. Engine efficiency Your engine choice will be determined by a variety of things: your annual mileage, how much weight you carry, which regular routes you use and the type of driving you do (motorway vs. city centre). By accurately predicting these, you ll be able to choose the most suitable vans. Passenger safety It s important to fit the correct bulkhead. By using your vehicle data to inform you when repairs are required, the system identifies issues and flags them before they affect fleet performance. This reduces your vehicle downtime and helps you keep overall maintenance costs down. Our advanced scheduling facility helps you manage your time and resources effectively, with twilight hours opening times, tachograph and O Licence options and where available the ability to profile individual vehicle maintenance by specific supplier and depot. If you re concerned about a possible recharge, you can call our team of specialist engineers before the end of your contract (usually 3 months before), and they ll carry out a thorough vehicle condition report to BVRLA standards.
