1 Educational Grants Application Fall Spring 2017 School Year Please Read and Follow all Instructions Carefully Thank you for your interest in obtaining an educational grant. The Educational Grants Foundation is pleased to offer educational grants for accredited post-secondary education; Academic, Vocational/Technical, Artistic, Public or Private. The Foundation looks forward to receiving your application. REQUIREMENTS You must; 1. Be a member, dependent of a member, or eligible to become a member of Kitsap Credit Union. 2. Be a US Citizen or Documented Resident Alien. 3. Meet admission requirements for the school, college or university you have selected. 4. Have Community Service or other forms of Volunteered Services 5. Academic Applicants Only: Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 APPLICATION PACKET* The entire application must be legibly printed or typewritten/double-spaced (preferred), and include; 1. Three letters of recommendation; one of which must be from applicant s supervisor, co-worker, teacher, etc. Letters must be on letterhead or the writer must be otherwise identified with an address, telephone number and address, with a current date and signed. 2. Official academic transcripts from the last semester or the last two quarters if you attended school within the last two years. (academic applicants only) 3. Application must be signed *Incomplete applications will be disqualified
