Summary of results: The overall rating score tallies all quantitative and qualitative inputs to come up with a score relative to how your system is optimized compared to similar EDI environments. First of all, it is generally a good indicator to see how electronic your business is operating. The more partners you exchange electronic documents with, the more efficient and green your business is. If the total amount of trading partners signifies only a percentage of overall customers and suppliers, it might be time for an extended ebusiness audit. Customers even converting a small amount of non-electronic partners over to EDI or ecommerce have realized significant yearly savings and return on investment.
