4 Perceptive Intelligent Capture for Remittance Processing 1.1 General Notes This document, the Release Notes for Intelligent Capture for Remittance Processing (ICR) version 1.1, contains descriptions of enhancements and updates identified by Customers, Support, and the Professional Services implementation teams Compatibility Perceptive Intelligent Capture (PIC) for Remittance Processing, version 1.1 is compatible with Intelligent Capture version 5.6 SP1 or higher. PIC for Remittance also is compatible with both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. Installation Notes To upgrade previous versions of Intelligent Capture for Remittance Processing to version 1.1, use the following steps. 1. Stop the Intelligent Capture Runtime Service and close all Intelligent Capture applications, such as Verifier and Designer. 2. Navigate to the directory where the PIC-Remittance zip was downloaded and unzip the file to a temporary 3. Create a backup of the project Global directory and other existing project files, such as ASE pools and other files. 4. Copy the following files from the SDP directory in the.zip extraction directory to the Global 1. Replace the existing SDP and INI files with the version SDP and INI files. 2. Optional. Rename the SDP and INI files to match the names in the original Global 5. Update the new INI file with the settings from the backup INI file. Any existing VL settings that have a value that is a comma-separated list, change the VL type to be LS. All other VL settings should remain the same type. For example, the existing setting REP_VL_ReportingFieldList =InvoiceNumber,LAR,Exception,RejectReason has been changed to REP_LS_ReportingFieldList=InvoiceNumber,LAR,Exception,RejectReason Note The actual value may vary. 6. Configure any new settings included in the new INI file. 7. If any custom scripting was placed in the UserExits and GlobalVariables classes, copy the custom script from the backup project SDP file to the version project file. 8. Create a backup of the Cedar For a 32-bit system, create a backup of the %ProgramFiles%\Perceptive\Components\Cedar For a 64-bit system, create a backup of the %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Perceptive\Components\Cedar 9. As an administrator, run RegAppDev.exe. 12. To verify that all assemblies were registered successfully, review the RegisteringResults.txt file. 13. Create a backup of the existing ICR configuration database. 14. In the.zip extraction directory, navigate to the Upgrade For MSSQL, navigate to the MSSQL\Upgrade For Orace, navigate to the Oracle\Upgrade 15. Execute the 1000To1100.sql script on the ICR configuration database. 16. Configure the new columns within the ICR configuration database as outlined in the New Feature section below. 17. Create a backup of the existing Reporting database. 18. In the.zip extraction directory, navigate to the Upgrade For MSSQL, navigate to the MSSQL\Upgrade\Reporting For Oracle, navigate to the Oracle\Upgrade\Reporting 19. Execute the 1000To1100.sql script on the Reporting database. 20. Open the project in Designer and import ASE pools for any new ASSA fields. 21. Reset all batches that were not exported to state Restart the Intelligent Capture Runtime Service.
