1 How to Post a Listing on the Bartercard Property Website 1. The vendor must complete and sign a copy of the appropriate Listing Form, and return to the Bartercard Property team All listings must comply with the current Website Listing Criteria, particularly in regards to asking price, trade component, and supporting documentation i.e. Registered Valuation (RV) or Current Market Appraisal (CMA). Photographs or images in high resolution JPEG format are also required (4-5 are ideal), and any additional information that the vendor would like to include as download documents i.e. Vendor s Statement, Body Corporate information, rental return information. Please note: All listing members must abide by the Terms and Conditions that form part of the Website Listing Form. Once completed, please the Listing Form, documents and JPEG files to info@bartercardproperty.co.nz or fax to Bartercard Property on (09) Bartercard Property will create a draft listing for the vendor Once the Listing Form, documents and JPEG files are received, the Bartercard Property team will create a draft listing and this to the vendor within two working days to review. The vendor is then required to confirm the draft or request amendments if necessary. 3. Bartercard Property receives written confirmation from the vendor Upon confirmation from the vendor that the draft is a true and accurate representation of the item listed, the listing will be posted live to the website within one working day. 4. The listing is now live on the Bartercard Property website The listing now appears on the website, and will be promoted to Bartercard members and trading staff. 5. Closing a listing on the Bartercard Property website When a listing has been sold within the Bartercard network it will be transferred to the Sold page on the website. If the vendor makes a sale outside of the Bartercard Exchange, or wishes to close a listing, a request must be ed to info@bartercardproperty.co.nz and the Property Team will close the listing and the vendor confirmation of this. Checklist: Completed and signed appropriate Listing Form that complies with current Website Listing Criteria Supporting documentation - Current Market Appraisal/Registered Valuation/Certificate of Title/Financial Information - Images/photographs of the item being listed (high resolution, in JPEG format) - Any additional information that the vendor would like to provide i.e. Vendor s Statement March 2015 v4 Page 1 of 5

2 Bartercard Listing Criteria The Vendor must be able to provide proof of ownership upon request. If the listing is being marketed via other agency or media (e.g. Real Estate Agency or Trade Me) the asking prices must be identical. This applies to all listings. Real Estate Listings Asking price to be roughly supported by providing either a market appraisal by a licensed real estate agent, a registered valuation, or a QV valuation. CV s/gv s/rv s will not be accepted. Land & Buildings Auckland / Christchurch Minimum 10% trade component on the asking price. Wellington / Tauranga / Hamilton Minimum 15% trade component on the asking price. Rest of New Zealand Minimum 20% trade component on the asking price. Bare Land Lease Auckland / Christchurch Minimum 20% trade component on the asking price. Wellington / Tauranga / Hamilton Minimum 25% trade component on the asking price. Rest of New Zealand Minimum 40% trade component on the asking price. By negotiation (a realistic opportunity must exist to negotiate a successful lease) Business Listings Minimum 30% trade component or T$20,000 (whichever is the greater) on a fair market asking price.
