14 Basics of Nelli-Portal: searching for a specific database (Library PressDisplay) Use Find a Database. Let s use Library PressDisplay, which contains newspapers from all around the world, as an example. Click on the right Database Name on the Result List and give your username/password if needed. In PressDisplay you can for example Select Title By Country to check out if your local newspaper is available.

15 Google Scholar scholar.google.com Google Scholar is a scientific version of Google. It is like standard Google, but filters out unscientific information You can find journal articles, academic theses, reports etc. You can open most of the full texts by clicking on the titles of search results, if you are working on a computer in Aalto University network (e.g. in computer class on campus). Otherwise log in to Nelli-portal with your Aalto username and try to find the article (e.g. by title) via Nelli-portal. Advanced Scholar Search gives you some more search options
