4 PRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY HYDEA S.P.A. is an engineering, architectural and environmental company, specialized in interdisciplinary projects in Italy and abroad. It was founded in 1990 by reorganising the Consorzio Hydea Consultants, a company with a long history in the civil engineering, architectural and environmental fields. HYDEA s headquarters are in Florence but it has other currently operative overseas subsidiaries in Belgium, Cape Verde, Djibouti, Fiji Islands, India, Moldova, Samoa. HYDEA is active in China through the subsidiary company Hydea Beijing, Achitectural & Engineering Design Consulting CO, Ltd. Our permanent staff is highly specialized in different disciplines and we also rely on the cooperation of external consultants and international research institutes. HYDEA can boast the best available equipment in the field of digital cartography and a group of highly qualified employees using Computer Aided Design, Geographic Information System and remote sensing techniques to support the design activities as well as the environmental and territorial projects.
