1 Overview: IFPSM- Asia Pacific Regional 1 st Half Year Report January July 2015 Asia Pacific (AP) Regional Plan was set out an agreed plan of activities in the region. We intend to promote each AP association members sustainable development and look for opportunities to further strengthen cooperation among association members to benefit development of the region and IFPSM. IFPSM AP Action Plan is to arrange regional SKYPE/ VIDEO conference on a quarterly basis to the following topics; 1) Association members retention strategy. 2) Developing a successful association education programme. 3) Association recruitment strategy 4) Association and effective web strategy. 5) Developing social media strategy. 6) Developing new income streams for associations. 7) Association members communication strategy. 8) Association members conference planning. 2 Date Location Title Participants Outcome Wed Mar 11, 2015 & Thu Mar 12, 2015 NIMA Norway IFPSM Board Meeting #1 & NIMA 100 th years conference. IFPSM association members AP participants : PSCMT/ IIMM/ SMIT MY gave a brief 1 st IFPSM Board meeting at Oslo, Norway on March 11, 2015 in conjunction with NIMA 100 th years anniversary. While PSCMT IIMM and SMIT from AP to attend it. There are 4 highlight topics as follows; 1) The cooperation among IFPSM association members around the World had been increased. 2) The success of IFPSM Summer school. 3) New feature of IFPSM Certificate would suit for every association while the content of it would not be complicated and high level as much as IFPSM Global Standard. SMIT would be representative to coordinate with China. MY would circulate draft of it within this week. 4) The Federation has entered into a commercial partnership with Chris Gallagher who is now the IFPSM Executive Consultant, Chris Gallagher(CG) will be attending the Asia/Pacific Regional meeting in Singapore on Wednesday 24th June. The significant of Buddy Programme in which proposed by RVP AP in the latest Asia Pacific Regional meeting, 24 June 2015 at Singapore with IFPSM/ PSCMT/ PASIA/ SMIT/SIMM/ MIPMM/ ISMM/ IPSHK & Chris Gallagher is not only helping new or existing association members share accumulated knowledge and experience further to strengthen cooperation in alignment with IFPSM Business plan and vision until This would make each AP association members come closer no geographic boundaries.
