1 ARTICULATION AGREEMENT INTRODUCTION This Articulation Agreement has been developed by Mount Saint Mary's University and Mount San Antonio College. Its purpose is to help the prospective Mount Saint Mary s student plan a course of study that will facilitate a more effective transfer into Mount Saint Mary s University. Mount Saint Mary s University accepts a maximum of 70 transferable community college units that may be applied toward the units required for a baccalaureate degree. This Agreement contains three sections: Section I - lists relevant information about MSMU General Studies Requirements. The General Studies requirements at MSMU include five areas: Communication Skills; Critical Thinking; Arts & Sciences; Modern Language, and Religious Studies and Philosophy. Listed under each area are equivalent courses offered at Mt. San Antonio College. Section II - lists lower division courses within six major areas selected by MSMU Admission and Advisement offices for Articulation due to their complexity. These six majors are Biological Sciences with emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy, Business, Child Development, English, Nursing, and Social Work. Section III- lists lower division courses within the Liberal Studies major, selected by the Education Department for articulation. Students interested in a Liberal Studies major should disregard section I and II. Please refer to the MSMU Catalog or contact a Transfer Admission Counselor in the Admission Office at MSMU for a complete list of required lower-division courses for majors not listed in this Agreement.
