4 Performance fluids - refrigeration & air conditioning We are one of the world s leading providers of PAG refrigeration and air conditioning lubricants ZEROL alkylbenzene lubricants for stationary applications Shrieve s world leading ZEROL synthetic alkylbenzene lubricant technology provides an excellent choice for use in stationary refrigeration systems, including those utilizing HCFC, HFC and NH 3 refrigerants and as specified by the compressor manufacturer. Their superior heat transfer and stability characteristics offer major advantages over traditional mineral oils for NH 3 applications, while providing a more attractive cost performance than other synthetics. System performance enhancers We offer proprietary technology that has shown excellent performance benefits in both stationary and mobile air conditioning systems: ZEROL ICE can provide major improvements in energy savings, lubricity and wear performance when used in conjunction with standard lubricants for stationary air conditioning systems. ZEROL ICE LT has the same performance benefits as ZEROL ICE with enhanced low temperature capability for industrial refrigeration systems. ICE 32 is being used successfully in millions of heavy-duty and passenger car applications. ICE 32 will appeal to fleet managers looking to reduce air conditioning maintenance costs. ZEROL PAG with ICE 32 is available as a pre-mixed lubricant. This provides service centres with the opportunity to both enhance and differentiate the air conditioning element of their service package to the customer. ZEROL PAGs and ZEROL ESTERs for mobile and stationary applications Shrieve offer an extensive range of ZEROL high performance speciality polyalkylene glycol (PAG) and polyol ester (POE) lubricant technologies for use in: Mobile air conditioning (MAC) Stationary air conditioning Commercial and industrial refrigeration Domestic and ground water heat pumps We have developed premium performance lubricants for the new refrigerants that are being introduced to combat ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP), which include CO 2 and Hydro Fluoro Olefin (HFO) systems. These sophisticated ZEROL polyalkylene glycol based lubricants include ZEROL HYBRID, an electrically insulating PAG technology that meets the lubricant resistivity requirements of hybrid and electric MAC systems. Approvals have been gained from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across a number of individual ZEROL products. Today, our products are distributed through a network of global partners to OEMs and aftermarkets. Shrieve s enhanced proprietary lubricant technology provides: Increased energy efficiency Increased compressor lifetime Reduced compressor noise We continue to prioritise industry issues to meet the needs of the next generation of refrigerants and compressors.
