15 Aim 4: Best practice sharing UN HABITAT and Sapienza: Millennium University Studio Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2010 Financing: USD ,00 UNHABITAT Main aims: a) implement student field studies and a studio work on the Lake Victoria Region b) exposing students and academics from the North and the South to the work of a major development agency such as UNHABITAT c) expanding the role and the scope of MDG based partnerships between Universities from the North and from the South and the UN system When: start up: August, 2011 end first session: december 2011 Beneficiaries: 10 Sapienza advanced level students and PhD candidates, coming from different disciplines, and at least 5 students from Universities located in the project area (Lake Victoria area) Main activities: strategic urban planning, enhancing municipal capacity for solid waste management, promotion of gender parity within the water and sanitation area, directing the students in participatory communication strategies, The results presented in international fora Development Titolo Presentazione Aiid programs Brussels June 4, 2013 Pagina 15

Primary and secondary school integration of students with disabilities in Mozambique; social and educational inclusion of students with disabilities in family contexts; Aims and actions: The project involves different steps of research and intervention: attitude analysis of teachers, parents and other key figures towards the education of children with disabilities; the creation and the training of focus groups with teachers of Mozambican educational system; good practice analysis in inclusion classes.
