4 Functional pain free running avoid ankle, shin, knee, thigh, hip & lower back pain & discomfort sustained from an inefficient running technique Increased running volume only time management should be the limiter in spending more time on your feet, not body breakdown Increased running speed conditioning technique efficiency over time = faster running speed if that s in your interest Enjoy running running shouldn't be a slog, or an act in self-discipline. I ll have you looking forward to your running sessions
5 - Education > this session is predominately theory Introduction brief history of my program, discuss your running interests, followed by a quick outline of what you can expect from each session Video analysis of your current running technique using various angles, frame shots, slow motion, audio feedback, etc loaded on big screen for assessment and teaching purposes Consideration of classic common running technical floors using video (before & after examples), PowerPoint presentations, & demonstrations with continual reference to your technique Consideration of efficient running technique, again using pictorials & demonstrations You will be ed all information presented in Part 1 PPP, articles, video analysis
6 - I usually like to leave 2-3 days between each section Work practically through the 3 major phases of the run stride using drills & demonstrations 1. Perfect postural positioning improving your balance 2. Leaning forward from the hips while maintaining improved postural balance free fallin forward 3. Swinging your support leg up & through Also; o Cushioning and timing of footfall engaging your powerful feet All session information is ed for your interest
7 - check out your before & after video Armed with 6 unique skill sets, I ll be adding one at a time every 3-5 minutes. This will leave you with no option but to run with total efficiency I finish the session by increasing your running speed while taking video footage We ll analyse before and after footage and discuss changes Finally we ll discuss your 4 week bridging program Frequency & intensity Demonstration of 4 classic running drills Trouble shooting BP support
8 For 23 years now, I ve had literally hundreds of runners of all talents & interests complete my 3 session program. I m happy to say no one has considered the program a poor investment. In fact, most have suggested it has considerably improved their running efficiency and perhaps more importantly, increased their love and interest for running. This of course ultimately leads to improved performances I continue to track my clients progress (see website) It usually takes between 4-8 weeks to considerably feel the difference, but importantly, you will always be forever practising & striving to improve and maintain your technique. Although not part of my 3 part program, many runners pop back in after 5-6 weeks of practice for a tune up session. A before & after video makes for interesting feedback- more so, confirmation of improvement
9 The 3 part program is - $270 (excl) $297 (incl) For those with further interest in my services PART 2 - Blood Lactate Threshold testing ($95) this allows me accurately determine the most appropriate training intensity for each individual. This ensures continued good health & reaching performance goals PART 3-28 day Block Individualised Training Programs ($100pp) following a lifestyle analysis/questionnaire, I prescribe a day to day training schedule including rest days, Timetrials (reporting in to me with results), varied workouts, nutritional plans etc. NOTE there are no longer contracts.
