Students may demonstrate competency either by successfully completing a third semester course in a second language or by passing the USD competency examination at that level. Lab designates a laboratory course Students who are intending to be Liberal Studies majors upon transferring to USD should contact the Liberal Studies office at to discuss the specific Core requirements for this major.
