1 EDS News October 2015 General Info Dear Parents, Happy Fall! What a great time of year. We are so happy to have your children with us this school year. We are getting to know everyone and making lots of new friends. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your child's time with us more enjoyable. We are always happy to talk with our parents. You may click on your own district below to reach that section of the newsletter more quickly. The "General Info" section on this page pertains to all districts. You may also click here to access the EDS website. Happy Fall! General Absences If your child will be absent on any day he or she is normally scheduled to attend, please or call your child s EDS site no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the absence and let us know. Please click here for a complete list of all EDS School Sites and their contact information. Student Forms If you did not register online, please return your child's emergency contact form with your tuition payment. For online registrants, we already have your form. Also, if you received a health appraisal in the mail, it is now due. Please return it ASAP. If you did not receive a health appraisal, your child does not need one at this time. We cannot allow children to go anywhere but to the program if they are scheduled to be with us and we have not been notified by a parent or authorized guardian. We must enforce this policy for the safety of all the children.

(If you sign-up for the day, you will be required to pay for the day, regardless of whether you attend the day.) The EDS afterschool program will be in session from time of dismissal (11:30 AM) until 6:00 PM. There will be AM K-Plus on this day. There will not be PM K-Plus. The district will be holding both AM and PM kindergarten sessions on this day and dismissing the AM kindergarten children at 11:30 AM and the PM kindergarten children at the normal 2:45 PM dismissal time. See below for more info. If your kindergarten child normally attends the afterschool program on Fridays, he may stay with us from the time of dismissal until 6:00 PM.
