2 MARATHON DES SABLES FRIENDS AND FAMILY PACKAGE From Thursday 11th April to Sunday 14th April th Edition of the Marathon des Sables Marathon dates : Friday 05th to Monday 15th april 2013 CIMBALY/PER MDS2009

3 Day 1 Thursday 11th April Meet at Paris Orly early in the morning. Flight Paris Orly /Er Rachidia : 06h55 / 08h05 (subject to availability at the time of booking ) On arrival, welcome and transfer. Baskets with biscuits, dried fruits, bottle of water, orange will be arranged in every 4x4. Arrived at about 11 am at the hotel. Have lunch at about 1:00 pm in the hotel. Excursion 4x4 from 4 :00pm to climb one of the big dunes before the sunset. The return will be made for every at about 8:00 pm in the hotel for the dinner. Dinner and night in the hotel Day 2 Friday 12th April Have breakfast in the hotel. In the morning (at about 09:00 am), departure with vehicles 4x4 in the direction of the site of the Marathon. 5 persons maximum (including the guide) by vehicle Have lunch picnic under a tent meadows of a control point at the heart of the race. After the lunch, track towards the place of the bivouac Marathon Des Sables. Arrived at the bivouac Marathon des Sables (the last stage of the Marathon) in the afternoon. Installation in tents. Vehicles will be parked near your place of bivouac and cannot move until the next day morning. Prize ceremony. You can find the parents or the friends runners. A tent information will be installed meadows of your tents, with a guide permanetly up to the dinner time. At about 6:30 pm, have dinner with mineral water, in the self-service of the Marathon Night in bivouac.

4 Remark: It is forbidden to enter the zone of the " Camp of the Competitors " CIMBALY/PER MDS2009 The location of the tent restoring on the bivouac as well as the schedules of meal will be indicated to you by your guide Day 3. Saturday 13th April Early morning breakfast in the bivouac of the Marathon Stage Charity: for those who decided to participate in the stage Charity, the departure of the walking at 9 am. Distance: 7,7 km (level of the walking : medium). In partnership with Marathon Des Sables, an association was born, on October 2008: solidarity MARATHON DES SABLES which is a project leader in favour of the childhood and the populations disadvantaged in the domains of health, the education and the sustainable development in Morocco. This realization aims at favoring the education of fundamental and universal values through the sport from the youngest age and at making sensitive the mothers in the practices of hygiene, health and at dispensing them stage of courts of elimination of illiteracy through two associations: Sport Eveil Académie (physical awakening from 3 to 5 years and initiation into the athletics from 6 to 11 years) and Femmissima (Pedagogy of the child, the hygiene and the health) Financial participation Stage Charity: 100 by adult and 50 by child under age 16 (necessarily accompanied with an adult). Compulsory medical certificate. For others, transfers in vehicles 4x4 in the place of destination of the stage. Grouping of all the participants by guides at about 1 pm on the site of arrival of MDS (this schedule will be confirmed to you on the spot by guides). Departure 4x4 towards your restaurant for the lunch. Lunch in a local restaurant (includes: 1/2 mineral water, tea or coffee / person) Return on Ouarzazate (arrived at the end of afternoon). Dinner (except drinks) and night n the hotel Azgor 4* or similar The runners are accommodated in different hotels. If a runner wishes to join his spouse to the hotel Azgor (or similar): the runner will have to pay to Terres d Aventure before the departure the supplement.

Free lunch to allow you to enjoy the last moments of the holiday as you wish Rooms must be vacated by 12:00 Transfer to the airport at 2 pm. 6 Administrative Formalities : Please Note!!! Any negligence on your behalf may place your holiday at risk. French nationals require a Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity at the end of the holiday. French Nationals do not require a visa. People of other nationalities may require a visa : please request information from the Moroccan consulate closest to your home. Vaccinations : No vaccinations are compulsory For information : The MAROCCAN Consulate in Paris 12, rue de la Saïda PARIS +33(0) The Institut Pasteur strongly recommends the following for all travellers: Tetanus/ polio vaccination Typhoid (Typhim VI) vaccination Vaccinations for hepatitis A and B (if you are going into the desert or the Atlas mountains). 7 PERSONAL EQUIPMENT LUGGAGE : Your luggage should only include 2 bags : 1 small backpack and one 1 holdall. 1. The small backpack This is the bag which you will keep with you in the aircraft cabin and which you will have with you in the 4x4. It should contain any fragile items and everything that is required from when you check in your luggage at the departure airport and the moment you collect it at the destination airport. 2. The holdall The holdall will travel in the hold of the plane. (Due to new security measures regarding the content of hand luggage, there are restrictions regarding liquids: please read the information below). Note: Please put all sharp objects in the checked in bag. During the tour, the bag that you carry will contain all your things for the day. At the destination, the guide will tell you what you need to take for each stage of the journey. NEW HAND BAGGAGE SECURITY MEASURES: At the security checkpoint you should present your bottles and tubes (each less than 100ml) in a clear transparent re-sealable bag approximately 20 cm x 20 cm. What items are banned? Liquids, aerosols, gels and pastes: mineral water, perfume, drinks, lotions, creams, shower gel, shampoo, mascara, soups, syrup, toothpaste, liquid soap, deodorants, etc. What is the maximum size of each bottle or tube allowed in the cabin? All bottles must be no more than 100 ml. How big should the plastic bag be? The plastic bag should be transparent (like a freezer bag) and should measure approximately 20cm x 20 cm. One bag can contain more than one item, tube, bottle or aerosol. Where can you get a plastic bag? You can purchase a plastic bag (freezer bag type) in shops and supermarkets. Most European airports also have plastic bags available at the security checkpoints. However, as this is a service offered to passengers and is not compulsory availability of bags is not guaranteed everywhere or all of the time. We advise you to make your own arrangements before leaving home. Are there authorised exceptions? - Liquid medicines You can carry liquid medicine onto a flight (insulin, syrups, etc.) if you are able to provide a letter in your name from your doctor or prescription to the security staff. There are no restrictions for solid medicines (pills and gel tablets). - Liquid food for babies

8 There are no restrictions for these products. Remember to take re-sealable containers as you may be requested to taste the foodstuff! PASSING THROUGH AIRPORT SECURITY: Take off your coat or jacket. Present the following items separately : All large electronic items: laptop, large digital camera, DVD reader etc. Plastic bag containing bottles and tubes. Medicines with prescription or letter of approval. Liquid baby food. Any purchases from airport shops which have been sealed in a plastic bag by the salesperson. Note : not all shops offer this bag. Ask before you make any purchases. Purchases of liquids after the security check are not subject to security checks and but are limited by customs. Also, be aware of connecting flights: ask before making any purchases. Tip : Include as much as possible in your checked in baggage and only carry things that are absolutely necessary for the journey trip in your hand luggage. CLOTHES SHOES : NOTE: Modest clothing is required! hat scarf T-shirts long sleeve shirts or sweat-shirts warm jumper or polar fleece comfortable trousers tracksuit trainers, shoes for relaxing. SMALL EQUIPMENT : Sunglasses, sun protection cream for lips and skin, personal toiletries, flannel, torch. No shower tents planned (only chemical WC tents) EXCHANGE RATE CASH : 1 = Dirham on 01/06/12 (no compulsory exchange rate). The Dirham is not convertible; export of the local currency is prohibited. TIME DIFFERENCE : Summertime: - 2 hours. CLIMATE : The temperature can go above 30 in the daytime and is cool in the evening (between 10 and 17 ). PHOTOS VIDEO : No filming or photography is allowed in and around airports and military bases. Do not forget to request permission before taking photographs or filming.

12 Cancellation Conditions More than 60 days prior to departure date : 5% of holidays cost with a minimum of 200 These charges are non-refundable by the cancellation cover in the insurance that we offer. Cancellation between 60 to 31 days prior departure : 15% of holidays cost. Cancellation between 30 and 21 days prior to departure : 35 % of holiday cost Cancellation between 20 and 14 days prior to departure : 50 % of holiday cost Cancellation between 13 and 7 days prior to departure : 75 % of holiday cost Cancellation Less than 7 days prior to departure : 100 % of holiday cost The general and particular conditions of sales govern the relationship between travel agencies and their clients were fixed by the notice dated 15 th June 1994 (published in the Journal Officiel on 17 th June 1994).
