Smuggler s Glen is the obvious venue for your competitive or recreational event. We have hosted a wide range of tournaments from P.G.A. Tour Canada Great Waterway Classic to fun-filled high school reunions and everything in between. Our greens putt fast and far; our fairways are bent grass and striped, hilly and undulating; our bunkers are numerous and white, tee boxes elevated with panoramic vistas. We invite you to enjoy a day off; leave the setup and details to us. Longest drive, closest to the pin, to the rope or to the keg.we will cater to your group s every need. At the end of the day you can even leave the scoring to us just to keep everyone honest! 6 4 Tournament & Group Events Meeting Rooms: Smuggler s Club House can facilitate up to 135 people in the downstairs Prohibition Lounge; The Glen House Resort can host up to 200. Our most popular group booking begins with a morning meeting, followed by a break for lunch, warm-up/practice on the Driving Range with tee times starting in the early afternoon. Full audio and visual equipment. Including a LCD projector and screen. Room set up to your selection of theatre, classroom or boardroom. Rates include coffee, juice, water breaks. Complete privacy in our downstairs lounge. Use of washrooms and locker room (shower) facilities. 12 10 Tournament & Group Events Terms and Conditions Booking Smuggler s Glen Golf Course requires a non-refundable 25% deposit and signed contract in order to secure the date for the Event. The deposit is due at the time of booking. The Event date is confirmed upon receipt of the signed contract and the required deposit. Cancellation of the Event by the Client may result in loss of deposit. Balance of Payment For all Events, full payment for all golf fees is due to Smuggler s Glen Golf Course prior to tee off. (Specific detail for payment options A,B,C,D are listed in Schedule A in contract) Smuggler s Glen Golf Course requires full payment for all day of charges (i.e. food and beverage, pro shop prizes, etc.) paid in full by the end of the day s event (except when agreed upon otherwise). Weather In the case of inclement weather, golf events must go on as scheduled unless the golf course is deemed unplayable by Smuggler s Glen Golf Course management. In the event of such as occurrence, the event will be given, whenever possible, an alternative event date. If a new event date cannot be rescheduled in the same golf season Smuggler s Glen will return the deposit back to the group organizer. See Appendix A for our complete raincheck policy. Confirmed Numbers For all events, a guaranteed number of participants is required 8 days prior to tournament date. Food and Beverage Events participants are required to purchase all food and beverage requirements from Smuggler s Glen Golf Course. No outside food or beverages are permitted on the course unless prior written arrangements are made. All participants must be informed that provincial liquor laws do not permit the distribution and/or consumption of beer/liquor, on the premises, unless purchased from Smugglers Glen. Bringing your own coolers, beer, alcohol or food is not permitted. Please request full contract for further information.
