6 Profile Declan Doyle Declan completed a Foundation Degree in Computer Games Development at Runshaw College and topped up his qualification to a full BSc (Hons) in Games Development at UCLan. He is now working as a Games Developer for Monochrome LLC UK, developing Contagion - a zombie survival game for PCs. He is currently raising money through Kickstarter to move Contagion to the PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Computing is my hobby and passion, so studying the Foundation Degree was a natural progression from my Sixth Form studies. I enjoyed the freedom I was given during my studies at Runshaw, especially with project work. I developed a range of skills that employers seek, such as time management and meeting deadlines; and was provided with a real insight into the type of work I could undertake in my future career. The best thing about Runshaw College is definitely the people the tutors are helpful, knowledgeable and so supportive. My advice to is to choose a course and place to study that s right for you; don t just follow your friends. I d definitely recommend you take a look at what Runshaw has to offer! Moving on... We are committed to providing you with an outstanding opportunity to go from a fully supported undergraduate, to an independent, critical thinking, and objective individual when you leave us. To achieve this, we go the extra mile to support you in progressing to higher level studies or employment. Our students progress to a wide range of careers and further fields of study. Below are the destinations of just a few of our recent graduates. Daniel Fulton ICT Technician at One Connect Limited, Lancashire. David Ashcroft Technical Support Engineer at Impact Computing & Consulting Ltd, Preston. Phil Coghlan Head of Information Technology at James Fisher Nuclear Ltd, Leyland.
