17 EAL Electrician Apprenticeship & NVQ City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 Course Code TS4U - EALNVQ This EAL electrician s Diploma course covers training centre based teaching for 16 weeks with options for the NVQ and AM2 Assessments. This course is identical to our apprenticeship course but is for adults who are not eligible for funding or simply want to pay for their training privately. Course Code TS4U The City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 courses are due to expire in December 2012, as such we will not longer be offering them. However if you have completed your Level qualification and are looking to progress, we can help you map over to the new qualification - City & Guilds Why take this EAL Electricians Course? Trade Skills 4U specialise in adult learning. We can deliver the knowledge units training in as little as 16 weeks, meaning you can reduce the time it takes to get working and earning whilst working under the supervision of an experienced electrician. As a fully qualified electrician you will be able to work in both commercial and domestic settings increasing the variety of work you can take on and your potential sources of income. This Electrician s Course is one of the most recognised qualification of its kind in the UK. The government, ECA, JIB, JTL and Summit skills all recognise it as a robust route to becoming a fully qualified electrician. This qualification is the equivalent to the current City & Guilds 2357 course. The course will take you right through from the basics to the advanced. For mature students previous experience will be taken into consideration, however it is important to note that some of the maths on the course can be quite in depth so it is important that you can show good ability in this area. By funding this course privately it is possible to complete the knowledge units first and then seek employment once these have been completed and then complete your NVQ and AM2 assessments. For many students this makes their skills more appealing to potential employers. If you are unsure of your suitability please contact us to find out if you are suitable and arrange an assessment on Below is a quick guide to transferring from the City & Guilds 2330 to the new 2357 The City & Guilds 2357 NVQ qualification essentially wraps together a number of older qualifications (including the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & Level 3) into 1 package. It is relatively simple and easy for those who already have a 2330 qualification to switch to the 2357 framework. Because the courses are modular we are able to book candidates onto individual elements of the course. Should you have a specific need or simply need some advice please call and we can provide advice on where and how you could pick up your training. Upgrading from City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 Upgrading from City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 For those who have completed Level 3 Technical certificate they will need to complete one additional environmental knowledge unit is needed: (ELTK02) Completing the full NVQ If you want to achieve the full NVQ qualification you will also need to complete the following work placed assessments This electricians course is taught in our state of the art training centre by our experienced and specialist electrical teachers.
