2 Matt Graves Senior Vice President, RISI Matt Graves is Senior Vice President at RISI, the leading information provider for the global forest products industry. Matt has over 15 years experience in consulting and business intelligence in forest products. Previously to joining RISI s Executive Team, Matt served in various roles including business management, sales, and marketing. Matt holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and a Master of Science in Management from the Boston University.

3 Alejandro Mata Lopez Economist, European Forest Products, RISI Alejandro is responsible for client support and analytics for RISI s European Graphic Papers team. Previously, Alejandro was a business analyst for a European fine paper producer. He has a bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Solvay Business School of Economics and Management in Brussels.

4 Esko Uutela Principal Economist, Tissue, RISI With more than 30 years' experience in the global paper market, Esko's expertise lies in the tissue and recovered fiber markets. After working nearly 18 years for a large forest industry consulting company in Helsinki and Munich, Esko established EU Consulting, his own forest industry consulting company. Esko carries out numerous private client projects, as well as publishing RISI's comprehensive studies on tissue business developments and global recycled fiber markets worldwide.

5 Kurt Schaefer Vice-President, Fibre, RISI With over 20 years of experience with the company, Kurt leads RISI s analysis of the pulp and recovered paper segments of the industry, specializing in papergrade pulp. He publishes a monthly commentary and forecast on the world pulp market, World Pulp Monthly. He also produces RISI s long term pulp forecasts, focusing on variables such as pulp consumption, capacity, production, production costs, and pricing. In 2012, Kurt was the project leader and principal author of RISI s multiclient study, The China Pulp Market: A Comprehensive Analysis and Outlook, which is the most comprehensive and in-depth study to date of the Chinese pulp market. Kurt was stationed in Beijing in 2011 and in Brussels in 2012 and is currently working out of RISI s Boston-area office. Prior to specializing in papergrade pulp, Kurt was Director of Pulp & Paper Forecaster and was responsible for forecasting prices and market conditions across all of the major grades of paper and paperboard in North America, including containerboard, newsprint, and printing and writing papers. In 1995, he received the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds degrees in Economics from the University of Virginia and Miami University.

6 Bernard Lombard Industrial Policy Director, CEPI Bernard Lombard is in charge of industrial policy and issues ranging from trade to transport, business intelligence and statistics. Impact assessment of EU legislation and better regulation are among his files. With his team, he secures the availability of an optimal set of statistical data and information to support the industry. He follows global and regional trade negotiations, advocates for increased market access for industry s products and raw materials and addresses tariff and non-tariff barriers as well as trade defence measures to secure a level playing field for the European industry. He joined CEPI in 2000 as Recycling & Economics Manager and had dealt with issues related to paper recycling, raw materials, economics and statistics. He was in charge of the organisation of an international event called the Forest-Based Industries Forum in France, Sweden and Belgium. Prior to his appointment in CEPI he worked for COPACEL, the Confédération de l Industrie Française des Papiers, Cartons et Celluloses in France where he was responsible for the economics and competitiveness department. During that period, he was the Secretary of UTIPULP, a European organisation gathering European market pulp users. Before joining COPACEL, he worked as a consultant in Paris and carried out several studies on industrial sectors. He had also been a teacher for 2 years in a local school in Central Africa. Bernard Lombard holds a Master in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nanterre and a degree in Business cycles analysis from the University of Paris- Dauphine.
