Measuring the Associate of Science students was difficult because there are very few of them. We were not able to collect data on a couple of measures as the indirect measures are voluntary. In the future semesters we will attempt to contact students earlier in the semester to ensure 100% participation in all assessment activities before leaving campus. In addition, having the outcomes assessment plan finalized will allow us to collect data on the measures that are based on fall semester courses, such as the business plan in the Entrepreneurship course. 3 2. Concerning performance on the CBE, there was not a peer group of Associate of Science students available to compare performance, so the test scores from the AS students were compared to our peer group data for four year baccalaureate business students. Over the next year the department chair will explore other exit exams to see if there is one that offers a peer comparison for Associate of Science students. 3. The graduating exit survey provided data on the degree that students believed they achieved the outcomes of the program. This survey has been modified to meet our new outcomes assessment plan. Over the next year the questions will be scrutinized to ensure that there is not the possibility of misinterpretation, and modified accordingly. The implementation of a focus group session for the Associate of Science students will also provide data that can be verified against the exit survey data.
