Director, Professional Golf Management, created and developed course concentration; developed relationship with the PGA of America, , awarded PGA accreditation in August Have personally invited and hosted the visits of more than 250 top hospitality industry executives Created, organized, and implemented successful Interviewing Workshop and mock interviews for all graduating seniors since The department has had a near 100% job placement record. Created, organized, and implemented successful departmental Career Day. Original proposal included program format, setup, marketing, student involvement and implementation. Created, organized, and implemented Resume Book for all graduating seniors and posting of graduating seniors resumes on departmental web site. We were the first Hospitality School nationally to post graduating seniors resumes on our web site. Have personally been responsible for many hospitality companies interviewing at Florida State University, including Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Radisson Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Interstate Hotels, Westin Hotels, South Seas Plantation, Doubletree Hotels, Carnival Hotels & Resorts, Sandestin Resort, and others. Chairman of two Curriculum Committees that implemented major departmental curriculum revisions (course content, titles and numbers) and departmental name change, 1983 and Founded, developed, and serve as Faculty Advisor to Eta Sigma Delta International honorary Society Student Organization, present. Fund raising efforts totaling over $40,000 Planned and organized several student industry field trips, including New York City, Hilton Head Island, Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, and others Founded, developed, and served as Faculty Advisor to Resort and Club Management Student Organization, Supervised grant proposals yielding over $5,000 in funds from CMAA Planned and organized several student industry field trips, including CMAA Conference in Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Honolulu Researched, wrote, and developed three new departmental promotional brochures at a cost savings of more than $10,000.
