2 SIBE GEMBA: OVERVIEW SIBE GEMBA is the school s latest program for ambitious global leaders with high energy and the eagerness to go beyond the common. This flexible yet global MBA program takes you to four of the world s most important markets: Germany, USA, Brazil and China, where you learn global management and leadership knowledge among diverse international peers so that you can develop the knowledge, network and competencies needed to shape your career. SIBE GEMBA s global hybrid format allows you to participate without leaving your job, family or country for a longer time period. Its work-integrating-curriculum and real-case-project integration let you develop your de-facto management competences Goal SIBE GEMBA strives for the development of its participants capability to act self-organized and creative in an increasingly global business world, making them the right leaders to successfully drive and create the future of global management. Part time hybrid format SIBE GEMBA is conducted in a part time, hybrid format which combines online studies, with in-person learning and knowledge application to real cases. The self-organized online preparatory studies focus on the acquisition of management theory and tools, and integrate methods such as team tasks, simulations and webinars. : During in-person sessions at one of the four program venues in Germany, Brazil, USA or China the knowledge & skills learned are substantiated during activities such as classes, site visits, guest speakers, case-studies, and other activities that can be best transferred in-person. Knowledge and skills acquired are now individually applied to ongoing real-business challenges and coached by business experienced real-case-lecturers.

3 DURATION OF EACH SEQUENCE: 5 MONTHS Continuing content: Leadership taught at each location with regional cultural perspective, Personality development periodic sessions 2 weeks in-person in Berlin: 1 week in-person in Genesis Institute, Rio de eiro: 1 week in-person in Extension, San Diego 1 week in-person in SEM, Beijing Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy keting & Sales International Management Global Strategy Global keting Global Operations Economics, Law, Project Management & Organization, Accounting and Finance Global Finance Master Thesis: Global Business Final Exam: Conducted out of Germany Concurrent services conducted out of Germany: Real-case project coaching, Program administration, Student services TOTAL PROGRAM LENGTH: 24 MONTHS Content Following modules are taught in SIBE GEMBA: Economics Law Project Management and Organization Accounting and Finance Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy keting, Human Resource & Organizational Behavior International Management Leadership & Personality (taught at each venue, emphasizing each region s cultural specifics) Additional services Real-case coaching: business experienced experts coach students in their real-case projects individually and in small teams. Personality development: individual competence profiles are repeatedly assessed and evaluated. Each student is guided to understand and develop his/her personal areas of competencies and integrate these into his/her future career plan.

4 Duration During the 24 months of the program the program takes place online and in four in-person sessions. There are two in-person sessions per year requiring approximately 15 out of office days per study year. The weekly workload amounts approximately hrs depending on individual working styles and speed. Global locations The four residences are conducted in: Germany, Berlin, 2 weeks Brazil, Rio de eiro, 1week USA, San Diego, 1 week China, Beijing, 1 week Starting dates and deadlines Cohorts start on ch 15 and tember 15, admission is rolling Organization Participants are enrolled at Steinbeis University Berlin. Student services and program administration are therefore conducted by SIBE, out of Germany.
