2 About Moss Tech Moss Technical are a medium-sized electrical services provider for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance for clients in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors. The company was founded in 1998 by owner and Managing Director Andy Moss, whose vision and standards have transformed Moss into the successful, award-winning company that it is today. Andy Moss and his team quickly grew the business through word-of-mouth and reputation, and soon earned recognition from the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) and slightly later from Safe Contractor and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). As the business has grown through the years, important lessons have been learned along the way, leading to continued success made possible by the original vision and mission of the early days. Electrical inspection and testing services are grouped according to the following categories: statutory, preventative, and reactive inspection and testing. Statutory inspection and testing services are required for all employers, who have legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations Act 1989 to ensure electrical installations and equipment are safe. Our periodic electrical inspection and testing service, known as Fixed Wiring Testing, is one of the best ways of ensuring you fulfil your legal obligations.
