While at Oxford, Ian studied with a Mackenzie King Traveling Scholarship from the University of British Columbia. He earned his Oxford Blue to play hockey and lacrosse against Cambridge University. Among other campus activities, Ian was also Secretary of the Oxford University Strategic Studies Group and a member of the Oxford University Indian Society, Poetry Society and Scottish Country Dance Society. Ian is also the author of Pull Over Please: What to do when the police stop you, with Brian Lawrie, published by Doubleday Canada. Ian was a Founding Director of Toronto s Elmer Iseler Singers, now in their 33rd season. He has also led humanitarian groups on short-term trips to Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, India, England, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Ghana, South Africa, Mozambique and Kenya. 3 Maurice Mirosolin - Partner, Lockyer Campbell Posner: Maurice Mirosolin is a partner at Lockyer Campbell Posner. He completed his undergraduate studies in political science at York University. He subsequently studied law at the University of Westminster in London, England. Following the completion of his articles, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in Mr. Mirosolin began his practice in Brighton, England with the firm Nigel Weller and Company and remained with that firm for several years. Mr. Mirosolin is an accomplished trial lawyer. He has extensive trial experience dating back to the start of his career in He has appeared as trial counsel in numerous cases and successfully defended clients charged with serious offences under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Mr. Mirosolin s record of success speaks to his skill and tenacity as a trial lawyer. Todd White - Todd Brett White Barrister: Todd White is a senior criminal lawyer in Toronto, Canada. He has been practicing in the fields of criminal defence, extradition matters, regulatory offences and professional disciplinary law since Mr. White articled for Edward L. Greenspan, Q.C. and Marc Rosenberg in He then practiced law at the firm of Greenspan, Rosenberg and Buhr, becoming a partner in He continued to practice with the firm (formerly known as Greenspan, White) until he established his own firm in Mr. White has been selected by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in Canada in the practice area of criminal defence in 2013, 2014 & Selection to Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey comprising more than three million confidential evaluations by top attorneys. Mr. White has been involved in many high profile and complex criminal and Charter of Rights cases in Ontario and across Canada. His practice includes defending people charged with criminal offences, including charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Criminal Code of Canada and the Extradition Act; conducting bail hearings and bail reviews; acting in Mutual Legal Assistance (M.L.A.T.) Edward Prutschi - Adler Bytensky Prutschi Shikhman: Edward Prutschi received his B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) from York University and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, Mr. Prutschi participated in the Intensive Program in Criminal Law, clerking for Mr. Justice Victor Paisley of the Superior Court of Justice. After articling for the law firm of Goodman Philips & Vineberg (now Goodmans, LLP), Mr. Prutschi started his own practice focused on criminal and quasi-criminal litigation, eventually teaming up with Leo Adler and Boris Bytensky to form the boutique firm of Adler Bytensky Prutschi Shikhman. Mr. Prutschi appears routinely before all levels of court in Ontario including the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. He is a former faculty member for the Criminal Law course at the Law Society of Upper Canada s Bar Admission Course where he has instructed law school graduates in criminal procedure prior to their admission to the profession. Mr. Prutschi has also been sought after as a guest speaker in the area of criminal law providing recent addresses to the Ontario Camping Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Construction Association, The Commons Institute and Osgoode Hall Law School. James Harbic - Harbic Law: James Harbic is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Criminal Law. The Senior partner with Harbic Law, he was called to the Bar of Ontario on April 19th, 1978, and has represented more than 10,500 clients facing criminal charges in courts at all levels all across Ontario, Quebec, and Nunavut. He has appeared as lead counsel in 102 jury trials, as well as 33 homicide files.

4 Helen Roos - Principal, Roos-Remillard Consulting: Helen spent over 20 years in provincial and federal government in justice, Canadian Heritage and INAC/AANDC in First Nations and Inuit land claim negotiations, implementation, research, policy development, labour force development and Aboriginal program design and delivery. Her M.A. thesis on the appropriation of Stoney Point Reserve #43/Camp Ipperwash in 1942, was used as historical background materials for the Ontario Ipperwash Inquiry, and prior to leaving AANDC, was A/Senior Negotiation on the Ipperwash Special Claim Negotiation team. Her passion is facilitating project and governance strategic planning to identify and consolidate the range of goals and community objectives into practical strategies and partnerships.
