3 JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Partner Channel Manager REPORTING TO Head of Sales ABOUT THE ROLE As Partner Channel Manager, your role is designed to make a substantial contribution to the growth and success of Communicator through the effective management and development of our referrer and reseller partners. Joining our established sales team, you will be responsible for developing existing partners and sourcing new partners. You will proactively manage a team of Partner Account Managers to recruit new qualifying partners and support existing partners. Developing our partners driving selfsufficiency while enabling, supporting and develop our partners for the long-term value of Communicator. This role will involve UK travel with the possibility of European travel. The role will involve developing a substantial revenue and profit channel to assist the continued growth of Communicator. This position is ideal for an experienced manager who excels at positioning business value and has a proven track record of developing, managing and driving business through partners. w: 3

4 MAIN DUTIES Work with the Head of Sales to ensure sales strategies are successfully implemented to identity, recruit, negotiate, and manage channel and referral partners to meet or exceed target revenue objectives Proactively recruit new qualifying partners and rationalize existing partner relationships on an ongoing basis through clear communication of the Communicator value proposition and developing long term business partnerships Define promotional tools and sales tactics to drive sales including product pricing and promotional tactics Develop performance targets & development plans for each partner and complete quarterly business reviews to track/feedback progress against targets Coordinate the involvement of support from other teams, including marketing, sales, product and management resources, in order to meet assigned channel partner performance objectives and expectations Execute partner co-operative marketing events, conferences, meetings and webinars Champion the channel, developing a strong channel culture both internally and externally. Request and respond to tender documents and RFI s to generate new business opportunities. Provide Win & Loss Reports on each opportunity Guide and manage Partner Account Managers to maximize partner satisfaction and sales revenues by driving partner education, forecasting opportunities Maintaining awareness of market trends in the industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing Feedback to the business on market trends, including market intelligence, competitive landscape and provide recommendations that will help us shape our success. Lead and develop a team of Partner Account Managers Manage regular one to one and team reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvements and best practice sharing Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency Work closely with in house technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of Communicator services Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues w: 4

5 Undertake additional duties or perform any reasonable management requests stated by your line Manager THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will be motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image, a sound understanding of technology is an absolute must as well as excellent commercial awareness. Excellent business acumen, exceptional relationship management traits with a team approach and a customer first mentality. You ll have been a top performer throughout your sales career and relish the opportunity of building long term partnerships. A proven track record within a sales environment and experience of effective pipeline management is essential. You will play an active role in the continued strategic growth of our business through your skills and experience. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE 8+ years of sales experience ideally with 3-4 years partner management experience in SaaS solutions sales A history of excelling in driving sales through the partner channel and building significant year on year growth in partner performance A proven ability in creating and maintaining an effective network within your partners The ability to lead and work effectively across departments, including sales, marketing and product development Skilled and experienced at stakeholder management Strong people management experience and results A customer focus, entrepreneurial spirt and the ability to execute at pace Proven track record in a consultative sales environment A willingness to learn, be coachable and hunger to succeed w: 5
