2 Pre-conference agenda - Monday 14th May 2012, Chairs: Janice Richardson, Insafe, and Yiannis Laouris, CNTI Conference registration The pre-conference event includes a practical training workshop, an around the world brainstorming session on global challenges and solutions and an international networking event. All conference participants are welcome to join all the pre-conference activities Welcome address Speakers: Janice Richardson, Insafe coordinator and Yiannis Laouris, Director of CNTI and Safer Internet Centre, Cyprus Understanding the work of the Insafe network This networking workshop will highlight the work of the Safer Internet Centres and will offer the opportunity to countries from outside of the Insafe network to learn how it creates and shares information, resources and campaigns. The emphasis of this session is on the exchange of information and ideas. Who are the main target groups we need to reach? What structures work best for informing and advising our target groups? How can we make our resources better known and which are the most effective? 2
