She then taught Social Work and Family Relations at the College of the Pacific, Stockton, Calif. ( ), where she also participated in the establishment of a Department of Clinical Services in the School of Education (1951). Goleman was a member of the Governor's Advisory Committee on Children and Youth ( ), the Board of Corrections Committee to Study the Los Guilicos School for Girls riots (1953), the Governor's Advisory Committee on Mental Health ( ) and the Stockton Community Council ( ). She was also Director of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Mental Health Summer Work Study Program ( ) and member of the Northern California Family Relations Council ( ). Scope and Content Goleman's Papers consist chiefly of correspondence, reports, minutes, proposals and printed materials pertaining to the activities of the various advisory committees of which she was a member, including: the Governor's Advisory Committee on Children and Youth ( ); the Governor's Advisory Committee on Mental Health ( ); the Board of Corrections Committee to Study the Los Guilicos School (1953); and, the Stockton Community Council ( ).
