Evaluating Student Perfrmance Members f the prgram faculty, using their prfessinal judgment, cntinually evaluate each student s perfrmance. Students receive feedback abut their perfrmance frm faculty members, advisrs, and supervisrs. The criteria used by the faculty t make such judgments include instructr's bservatins f curse perfrmance, evaluatins f students' perfrmances in simulated practice situatins, supervisr's evaluatins f student's perfrmances in practice situatins, and the discipline's cdes f ethics. Student Review Plicy If a faculty member believes that a student is nt making satisfactry prgress r meeting prgram r university standards, that faculty member will discuss the situatin with the student. If the faculty member believes the student's perfrmance cannt imprve t acceptable standards, the faculty member may refer the student t a cmmittee f the prgram faculty, cnsisting f a minimum f three faculty members, t review the student's perfrmance. The Perfrmance Fitness Evaluatin Frm included in the Appendix will be used fr this review. Please familiarize yurself with this frm. The faculty review cmmittee will prvide the student in writing with the reasns fr nn-satisfactry prgress and will prvide the student an pprtunity t meet with the cmmittee t discuss the cncerns.
