Design and implement measurement tools, and assess candidates academic readiness for ordination. Non-stipendiary. Field Consultant Summer 2011 Ashland Theological Seminary. Serve in an advisory role for a local DMin candidate, read and approve that student s final project, and attend the final exam. Bible Instructor Institute for Christian Studies, Orlando, FL. Taught classes in the Diocese of Central Florida s (Anglican) Diaconate Training program. Classes at the undergraduate level included the NT book of Acts, the OT Historical books, Church history, and the Ministry of Healing. Adjunct Professor June, 2003 Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge, PA. Taught one intensive elective course at the graduate level on the theology and ministry of the Eucharist. Rector St. Elizabeth s Episcopal Church, Sebastian, FL. Supervised all church services, personnel, and programs. Led the parish in a re-start situation back from assisted-status to full self-sufficient and growing status of 150 ASA. University Chaplain Rollins College and the University of Central Florida. Established an outreach to Young Adults on both campuses. 4 Ordination Information: Ordained Deacon in June, Ordained Priest in January, Transferred ordination credentials from the Episcopal Church USA under Bishop John Howe to the Anglican Church in Uganda under Bishop John Guernsey on September 11, 2008, to the Anglican Church in North America in the Diocese of the Holy Spirit on June 23, 2009, and to the newly formed Gulf Atlantic Diocese under Bishop Neil Lebhar on April 27, Personal Mission Statement: My passion is to know Jesus more and more each day, to be a Pressing-On Christian (Hosea 6:1-3; Phil. 3:8-14). Both God s Word and the Holy Spirit are essential in this pursuit (John 8:31; 14:26). Studying Scripture requires academic excellence and also spiritual depth, Pressing-In toward maturity until Christ is formed in us (Gal. 4:19). True maturity and spiritual formation means our knowing is not distinct from our being and our doing (Eph. 4:11-16). As a teacher, my vision is to equip the saints with the truth that will set them free and make them mature. I seek to Pass On this passion to Press-On and to Press-In. Roles in the wider church and ecumenically: As University Chaplain, networked with Presbyterian and Lutheran churches to serve as their presence on the campuses. In the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida, served on the Diocesan Board, Diocesan Evangelism Commission Chair, Commission on Ministry, Pastoral Response Team, and Secretary of Convention. In the local community, volunteer at the Humane Society to provide grief counseling for pet-loss, and as officiant at their annual Pet Blessing ceremony. After resigning from full-time pastoral duties, have served at the local non-denominational Retirement Center Chapel as supply preacher. In June 2011, appointed as the ACNA Provincial Council Registrar. Other Interests: Hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, training for a 5k jog, volunteering at the Humane Society. Bubbers CV page 4
