13 2. Admission requirements. Please describe admission requirements and the method of candidate selection as well as provide an evaluation of the effectiveness of adopted solutions. The Senate s resolution on the conditions and method of recruitment for doctoral programmes and their mode, valid for the year of the site visit is to be prepared for inspection. 3. Learning outcomes and the system of their confirmation. Please provide information enabling ascertaining if: the unit has a consistent statement of objectives and learning outcomes for the doctoral programmes offered and an efficient and reliable system verifying their achievement; learning outcomes defined by the unit refer to knowledge, skills and social competencies and whether or not the unit allows their achievement; the unit allows for independent research also outside it, and preparation of scientific publications, and creates conditions for preparations for PhD examinations and for PhD theses; internal and external stakeholders participate in the process of learning outcomes determination; the unit operates the ECTS system, in which the number of credits corresponds with a doctoral student s workload and this workload is adequate to achieved learning outcomes; the unit possesses a reliable, transparent and publicly accessible system to assess to what extent intended learning outcomes and objectives are achieved; and perform an evaluation of the effectiveness of adopted solutions.
