After you agree to get DealerStar, we set up an account for you and let you start using it for training, setups, and testing. When you are ready to go live we delete the transactions that you want and you re ready to go. Upfront costs like training are optional depending on how well you learned it during the testing period. You can cancel DealerStar at anytime No risk or costly investment. Real Time: With the exception of any imports from 3 rd parties, DealerStar is real time. When you type a check, it goes directly to the general ledger and the vehicle cost record. When you post a car deal voucher, the entries post to the GL, the trade goes into stock, and the customer and their vehicle is updated in the service database. All receipts show immediately in the schedules (no need to wait for the deposit to be posted) and all purchase orders tie to the sublet repair and vehicle inventory.

8 Security: DealerStar lets you add users and select their security level for each area; sales, service/parts, accounting. For example you might want to give someone a clerk level in accounting, a salesperson level in sales, and an advisor level in service. Platform: DealerStar is the only DMS built on MySQL, PHP open source tool that is scalable to huge enterprises that cannot be sunset out by Microsoft. Two DMS systems are currently built on Microsoft products slated for an end of support date in By building on more open and universal platforms, DealerStar does not require any Microsoft software operating systems or upgrades or user restrictions (Microsoft SQL and Dynamic products license by user, thus you must limit your users or pay for more users as you grow.) What is your per user fee? Installation: Installed on a secure server hosted by eapps with 99.9% uptime. You can access with any browser and Internet connection including IE, FireFox, Chrome, Safari (iphone, ipad, and Apple.) Nobody has been extracting and converting as much information as DealerStar from ADP, R+R, UCS, ACS, Arkona, AutoSoft, etc. We have taught over a dozen DMS/CRM providers how to do this over the past 15 years.
