3 ABOUT UHY AUDIT CD The company was established on the 23rd of May 2002, by Mrs. Camelia Dobre. UHY Audit CD is a member of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania CAFR (2004), of the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania CECCAR (2002) and of the Chamber of Fiscal Consultants of Romania CCF (2007). Starting with March 2007, UHY Audit CD SRL is the exclusive partner for Romania of the global network for professional services of audit and fiscal consultancy, UHY International. UHY Audit CD team has 24 members: 2 partners and 22 specialists (staff + collaborators). 17 UHY AUDIT CD PUBLICATIONS In cooperation with the most relevant experts, UHY Audit CD created two working tools useful for the Romanian tax specialists, as a result of the need for an official translation and interpretation of the original OECD text: OECD Model Tax Convention - this book responds to the need to clarify and standardise the tax provisions for economic operators carrying trans-national business activities, from a European taxation perspective. OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines this book is addressed to economic operators conducting transnational activities as well as to specialists from the fiscal administrations. It is a useful work both for the tax authorities and for the specialists in the private sector who conduct transactions with affiliates and would like to know all the aspects related to transfer pricing. 16
