Refund Policy If ESC Region 12 cancels an event or if the event exceeds maximum enrollment, a pre-paid participant will be issued a full refund or fee transferred to a future event. If an unpaid registered participant is unable to attend an event, they must registration@esc12.net before the end of the day 5

8 ADMINISTRATORS & LEADERSHIP Administrators & Leadership Support provides professional development and expert assistance to superintendents, central office administrators, campus leadership and school boards. The service provides a link of communication between ESC Region 12, TEA and local education agencies. Superintendent Leadership Services Our Field Service Agents provide a liaison to connect district superintendents with ESC Region 12 programs and services. They act as a link of communication between ESC Region 12, TEA and education agencies, providing crucial policy and governance assistance. Superintendent Leadership Academy Co-op This academy is designed to combine networking, dialogue, technology, field-based experience and expert presenters to meet the needs of both beginning and experienced superintendents. Topics are based on current issues and superintendents interests. School Board Training The School Board Training Program provides professional development and required training to school board members. Topics include: Orientation to the Texas Education Code Update to the Texas Education Code Team Building Finance and Budgeting Administrator Leadership Support & Training We offer a wide array of training and services to help new administrators start off right. Accountability navigating the ever-evolving rules and requirements of both state and federal accountability, including PBMAS and Data Validation Monitoring Administrative/Campus Leadership team and culture development, PDAS, T-TESS, P-TESS, GPC and new teacher orientation Campus & District Snapshot observation, analysis and detailed feedback on classrooms, facilities and environment, including the new MAPSS web-based campus snapshot tool Curriculum Council updates on legislative changes, resources and timely curriculum and assessment initiatives with an opportunity to network with other administrators Instructional Rounds systematic improvement effort that allows administrators and teachers to learn from each other to identify actions that will increase student achievement

These services include online recruitment, background checks, certification services, network meetings, temporary staffing for select positions and an annual educator job fair. Personnel On Demand Does your district need a part-time counselor, librarian or nurse? 14 ALTERNATIVE CERTIFICATION & The Alternative Certification Programs at ESC Region 12 are designed to offer a cost-saving alternative to traditional colleges and universities for prospective teachers, paraprofessionals or current educators seeking certification. Services are offered at convenient times, using a blended model of face-to-face and online instruction at an accelerated pace that makes them a viable option for working professionals. Principal Preparation & Certification Program (PPCP) The Principal Preparation and Certification Program (PPCP) provides an alternative to the traditional certification path for ESC Region 12 customers. Educators who enter this program must possess a master s degree and have completed at least two years of creditable teaching experience. Benefits include: Professional cohort with members in other districts Classroom presentations by experts in various areas of education and administrative roles Preparation for successful completion of TExES exam Mentoring by program directors during and after program completion Counselor Certification ESC Region 12, in partnership with ESC Region 4, provides online counselor certification. The program courses are offered online through ESC Region 4, with internships supervised by ESC Region 12. Participants must have a master s degree and submit an application to ESC Region 4. Benefits include: Flexibility of online course Integrated theory and practice Practicums can be completed anywhere in state of Texas Cohorts beginning February and August of each year Master Teacher Certification A certified Master Teacher teaches content and serves as a content teacher mentor. The ESC Region 12 Master Teacher Preparation Program provides approximately 100 hours of instruction, preparing participants to take the appropriate certification test for possible master teacher certification in Reading (K-12), Math (EC-4, 4-8, 8-12) or Science (EC-4, 4-8, 8-12). Certification & Training Teacher Preparation & Certification Program (TPCP) We offer cutting edge teacher preparation to individuals with a bachelor s degree who are seeking to enter the teaching profession. Our engaging curriculum is taught through a blended model of face-to-face and online courses. Expert teachers in the different fields use research-based principles. 22 SCHOOL FINANCE The School Finance Program supports school districts, charter schools and other educational institutions by providing state and local revenue planning and modeling, state aid forecasting and compliance and financial research services. School Finance Services This service provides superintendents, business managers, finance directors and transportation directors with expert assistance, professional development opportunities and trainings.
