2 This document details Automation Fair promotional opportunities available to exhibiting members of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork. Advertisements, promotions or announcements for your company must be appropriate to your relationship with Rockwell Automation and must be in compliance with your partnership program Partner initiatives for Strategic Alliance partners Referenced products for Encompass partners Unique solution experiences for Solution Partners Rockwell Automation standard machine and equipment for OEM partners 2

3 Literature Bag Literature Bag: Customers will see your company logo ahead of Automation Fair at the various Rockwell Automation on the Move events and also at Automation Fair. Available: July. An additional printing of literature bags will be produced for Automation Fair. Up to five additional logo slots for exhibiting partners are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Partners currently included on the first printing of the bags (see graphic below) will automatically be included on the second run and DO NOT need to re-register. 3

4 Pre-show Program PartnerNetwork Showcase Pre-show Program: Helps drive customers to Automation Fair ; gives customers a preview of what they will be able to see at the show. Available: Mid-July. Automation Fair Website: Customers can review all PartnerNetwork Showcases directly from automationfair.com. Available: Ongoing updates. Highlight up to two products or services in a brief summary, along with a product or application photo and your company logo. These products or services will be highlighted in the PartnerNetwork Showcase section of the Pre-show Program and on the Automation Fair 2013 website. All descriptions will be subject to review and final approval by your partner program manager. 4

5 On-site Directory On-site Directory: Once at the show customers can use this guide to review and get an overview of the entire Automation Fair. Available: End of October. PartnerNetwork Showcase Highlight up to two products or services in a brief summary, along with a product or application photo and your company logo. These products or services will be highlighted in the Partner Product Showcase section of the On-Site Directory and on the Automation Fair 2013 website. All descriptions will be subject to review and final approval by your partner program manager. Advertisements Highlight your partnership with Rockwell Automation through advertisements of your products or services in the 2013 Automation Fair On-site Directory. The directory is given for free to all show attendees and includes exhibit floor locator maps, show news and a complete exhibitor listing with contact information. The directory can also be used after Automation Fair to begin promoting next year s Automation Fair, extending the life of your advertising. You must include your partnership program logo on your advertisement. Note: Requests for back cover and inside front cover will be converted to full-page ads if covers are unavailable. 5

Complete Adobe files of a pre-designed Automation Fair poster will be sent to you upon request. Product/Solution Description: 150 words max; written for magazine publication, NOT pulled from sales collateral - no bulleted points or product specs, create as a marketing-facing paragraph that editors can use in their written pieces. Text in Microsoft Word document. Booth(s) and booth number(s) product will be featured: If product will be featured in multiple booths, those booths need to collaborate on product description. If you have photos that will not be ready in time for this deadline, we will be able to include them in later versions. The PDF will be periodically updated to the Rockwell Automation field until mid-october when it will be printed. Ad must include partnership program logo. Brochure trim size: 6.5 W x 9 H (no bleed) CMYK, all spot colors converted to process match Accepted formats: Print-Ready PDF (Embed all supporting files and fonts) Electronic files are mandatory All press releases will be posted the week prior to Automation Fair. Any press releases that are not submitted by November 1, 2013 will not be placed in the online pressroom until after Automation Fair. Please do not bring any printed or CD materials for the pressroom to Automation Fair ; as this room will only contain computer terminals for our visiting media. Any materials brought into the pressroom will be removed. Complete Adobe files of a pre-designed Automation Fair poster will be sent to you upon request. Place your company logo in the space provided and use the poster to promote your participation in this year s event. Submit press releases to your Rockwell Automation partner Program Manager for review. 14 Payment Terms Contracts will be billed after Automation Fair closes on November 14, Contracts cancelled after designated space reservation deadline will be subject to a 75% cancellation fee.
