1 GREAT OCEAN ROAD TREK Challenge yourself to be a part of nature instead of driving past it. Wednesday 18th - Wednesday 25th November 2015 Travel Play Live is very excited to bring you the Great Ocean Walk. 104km visiting the iconic features including the 12 Apostles and amazing scenery from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles. Our accommodation will be in Apollo Bay and we will be transferred each day to and from the trail head by minibus, which will allow us to leave our belongings at our accommodation. All you will need to carry will be a day pack with your snacks, lunch and water bottles and obviously anything essential such as medications, hats, sunscreen etc. It is important to note that the Great Ocean Walk is an experience, not a race. We will walk as a group, and participants can rest as required, and frequent breaks will be had to ensure we rehydrate and eat as well as stop to enjoy the stunning views. The Great Ocean Walk will follow the plan laid below. Please note that the daily start / stop points may vary slightly due to inclement weather etc., however if we are prepared physically and with appropriate clothing etc., we shouldn t have any dramas. Thousands of people have walked the trail and had an amazing experience. Included: Accommodation in Apollo Bay on the nights of 18th - 24th November 2015, Great Ocean Walk participation, guides & Travel Play Live Sparkle Transfers to and from the Great Ocean Walk trail head each day All meals, snacks & water Transport from Melbourne Airport to Apollo Bay on Wednesday 18 th November and return on Wednesday 25th March. 2 Itinerary Day One - 18th November Today we will meet at Melbourne Airport and make our way to our Accommodation in Apollo Bay. Time to be confirmed closer to travel date. Day Two After a delicious healthy breakfast, we begin our walk to Blanket Bay where we will be picked up and transferred back to Apollo Bay. We walk approximately 20km on day one. Day Three Blanket Bay to Aire River approximately 21km of walking through a variety of hills and trails, concluding at Aire River with the opportunity to learn about the history of the coast and the numerous shipwrecks from the early days of Victorian settlement. Day Four Aire River to Johanna Beach approximately 15km of a variety of surfaces and experiences, with so many photo opportunities that you will be spoilt for choice. Day Five Johanna Beach to Ryan s Den approximately 15km of walking on our last day on the Great Ocean Walk and we conclude with a climb to the top for our last chance at some spectacular picture postcard photos to take home with us. Day Six We commence our Great Ocean Walk at Ryans Den, with a steep descent to the trail proper and then continue through to Moonlight Head and the The Gables, where we can take in the view from one of the highest sea cliffs in Australia. We then continue on to Wreck Beach and finish the day at Devils Kitchen. Back by bus to Apollo Bay and another epic meal to refuel for the final day. This leg is approximately 15kms.

3 Day Seven We finish our Adventure with the walk from Devils Kitchen to The Twelve Apostles cliff top views, wetlands and a chance to see the Twelve Apostles up close and personal! Tonight as we come to a close we will celebrate our achievement with a special dinner. Day Eight Today we make our way back to Melbourne Airport to head home. Tour Ends Additional Information Our meals will be fully catered for by Travel Play Live and we will provide a grab bag of snacks and goodies to sustain you along the way, however if you have dietary concerns or preferences for your own snacks you are free to bring them with you. Obviously we have no refrigeration facilities during the day so snacks need to be non-perishable and we are also highly aware of leaving the environment as we found it, so all rubbish and containers must be carried home with us so that the next users of the trail may enjoy it the same way we have. We may meet other groups on the Great Ocean Walk and we encourage you to introduce yourselves and share experiences and impressions along the way. We are all there to enjoy an incredible experience and meet like-minded people. Given the distance from towns, there are limited sources of fresh water available other than at the designated camp sites along the walk that are maintained by Parks Victoria. We will be ensuring that we carry enough drink bottles to sustain us between campsites and to purify water before drinking it. Most days will involve 6 to 7 hours of walking over a variety of terrain, with plenty of time for taking photos, sitting and absorbing the incredible scenery nature has provided us, chatting with fellow participants, rehydrating and eating and simply resting up when we need a break. We want this to be an experience to savour, to relish and to immerse yourself into, coming out the other end with an appreciation of exactly what you are capable of and with a sense of perspective about how you can overcome future challenges in your lives. 4 PAYMENT DETAILS: Travel Play Live Manning Street Tuncurry NSW 2428 P: E: Travel Play Live ABN: Great Ocean Walk Payment Schedule Available - November, 2015 See below for details pertaining to obligations and rights of Participants,Travel Play Live and their agents: PAYMENT OF TOUR FEES: The Great Ocean Trek tour fees agreed between the Participant and the tour operator shall be payable as follows: i. A $250 deposit at the time of booking Non Refundable ii. Balance of tour fees as specified above Your Great Ocean Walk Adventure will be an investment of $2200, which includes, Accommodation in Apollo Bay on the nights of 18th - 24th November 2015, Great Ocean Walk participation, guides, transfers to and from the Great Ocean Walk trail head each day, all meals and transport from Melbourne Airport to Apollo Bay on 25th February and return on 4th March. Please make payments by Bank Transfer as follows, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement: BSB Acct # Acct name if required Travel Play Live Important information: Please use the following as the reference on bank transfers TPLsurname eg. TPLJones rather than Great Ocean Trek as we are unable to track transfers back to their source if unable to identify the payment. We also ask that where possible you provide a screen shot of your transfer as confirmation of your deposit as participation is based on first paid secures their place basis. You may cancel the contract at any time before midnight on the thirtieth business day after payment of the Initial Deposit in writing to Travel Play Live. A business day is any day except a weekend or public holiday. This notice may also be given by as shown on the front of this page. Upon cancellation under this clause you will be refunded 80% of the balance of non-refundable fees and monies paid. The refund will only be paid via direct debit within 10 business days. No cash refunds will be issued. Prior to paying your initial deposit, please ensure you have communicated with Travel Play Live staff as to your general health and wellbeing, any dietary concerns, medical conditions and questions you may have regarding your ability to undertake the Great Ocean Trek. Please note that you are responsible for ensuring that you are able to reach Melbourne Airport, our departure point on 18th November Travel Play Live will endeavour to assist you as much as possible with transport advice and referral to our preferred Travel Agents, Women s Own Adventure and where possible arrangements may be made to assist participants to reach Melbourne. 6 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING Travel Play Live is not a licensed travel agent (Travel Agents Act 1985), nor a carrier or hotelier, nor do we own aircraft, hotels or coaches. The services Travel Play Live provide consists of arranging and coordinating our retreats and micro adventures, escorting tours, and introducing clients to various third party travel service providers. We exercise every care in the selection of reputable agents, and other service providers of the various services which are used in these retreats and micro adventures. It is important to note, therefore, all bookings with Travel Play Live are subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the service providers whose services we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss of damage of baggage. Because of this Travel Play Live does not accept liability for events beyond our control, nor liability for accidents incurred due to actions taken at your own risk. BOOKING CONDITIONS Please note that it is essential to read and understand the conditions of booking. Please ensure you have read and understood the itinerary and style of the retreat or micro adventure you are booking. Please note that where a third party is responsible for the handling of monies for booking, your contract is with them. INSURANCE Travel insurance for our retreats or micro adventures is not compulsory, however it is highly recommended that you have ambulance cover within Australia. You are able to get travel insurance to cover you for our retreats and it should provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability. We also recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time of booking. RESPONSIBILITY You acknowledge that participation on a Travel Play Live retreat or micro adventure requires a degree of flexibility and understand that the trip's route, accommodation and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances. Should Travel Play Live deem it advisable to amend an itinerary for any reason, it may do so by shortening, varying or re-routing any retreat or micro adventure. These changes are binding and additional expenses will be charged to you if the reason for any alteration is outside the company s control. While travelling with Travel Play Live you agree to accept the authority of the retreat leads and local operator at all times. You are aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. You understand that Travel Play Live reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time. You acknowledge that Travel Play Live contracts with a network of companies, government agencies and individuals to assist in the running of its retreats or micro adventures. To the best of Travel Play Lives knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are contracted to perform. However Travel Play Live will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the behaviour of these third parties. Travel Play Live will not accept responsibility or liability for any traveller who contravenes any law or regulation of any state visited. No employee, servant or agent of Travel Play Live has authority to vary these conditions. PARTICIPATION FORM (MUST BE COMPLETED UPON BOOKING) All participants on Travel Play Live retreat or micro adventure must sign a Participation Form. Please note that signing the form is a pre-requisite of participating in a retreat or micro adventure with Travel Play Live. "I understand that participating in a retreat or micro adventure with Travel Play Live may involve risks (and rewards) above and beyond those encountered on a more conventional retreat or micro adventure, and that I am undertaking an adventure trip with inherent dangers. I understand that I am travelling to geographical areas where, amongst other things, the standard of accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene, cleanliness, medical facilities, telecommunications and infrastructure development may not be of the standard I am used to at home or would find on a conventional retreat or micro adventure. I have read and understood the Travel Play Live retreat or micro adventure notes for the retreat or micro adventure I am undertaking and have provided details of any pre-existing medical conditions I have to Travel Play Live s representatives. I accept these risks and obligations and I fully assume the risks of the retreat or micro adventure.
