Built using HTML5, Traversa is touch-friendly and fully functional on a standard tablet. You can pinch to zoom and access different layers of Esri map data, all on your mobile device. You can even edit routes with a simple touch. The interface is equally intuitive for PC users, and as it is Web-based, it can be accessed from work, home or anywhere else you need. Your work can go where you do. Traversa is flexible enough to handle the needs of the transportation manager who has to do it all, or the staff member assigned to a single function. It has a customizable, role-tailored interface built based on extensive research and testing with transportation offices across the country. That means that when they use the program, each Traversa user sees only what they need to do their job no more, no less. While one employee may need to know right when they log in that there are a number of vehicles out of service today, another may only need to know that they have trip requests that require immediate approval. 6 Esri Mapping System The Esri-based mapping system interfaces with third party data providers which can show traffic flow, construction projects, city planning, evacuation routes, weather and more. You can select a bus stop and zoom in to inspect the streetscape for possible safety issues. Traversa even helps you respond to change. If a bridge washes out, you can quickly find an alternate path and print the new directions for your drivers to use the next morning. GPS Tracking Traversa allows you to track your fleet by viewing it on a map in real-time. The GPS software collects and monitors data such as real-time speed, location and heading. Additionally it can be used to retrieve historical coordinates (i.e. paths) for individual vehicles. This information can help a district implement changes to improve fuel efficiency, ensure the security of students and drivers, and create significant savings in operational costs. 6

7 Intuitive Run Management Build runs, create and manage school boundaries, and assign drivers and vehicles with Traversa s map software. Stop times are editable and information like right-side service can be easily accessed. Then transportation coordinators can generate directions describing the streets and bus stops visited. On a standard tablet, runs can be drawn right on the map! 7

8 Electronic Rollout Sheet Traversa can be enhanced with our Electronic Rollout Sheet feature (Rollout), which brings the job of the dispatcher into the mobile age. Every day, dispatchers ensure that all drivers are present and ready to depart, and that each vehicle leaves the lot on time. They deal with situations that arise when a driver is absent or when a bus won t start. Rollout electronically manages this process and makes the daily dispatch faster, more intuitive and most importantly mobile. As with all Traversa features, Rollout works on any standard tablet, so dispatchers are no longer tied to their desks! They can walk through the lot, checking on the fleet and the drivers and marking off departures, all with their fleet s information accessible at their fingertips. 8

9 Each day Rollout presents the dispatcher with a list of the day s scheduled departures. Rollout s cutting-edge interface makes the status of individual buses and the entire fleet visible at a glance: 1. Rollout highlights a scheduled departure (a grouping of bus, driver and run/trip description) a few minutes before it is set to start. 2. Review past rollout sheets to see which drivers or vehicles were substituted. 3. Quickly filter to view the information you need with one touch selections. 4. Clicking or touching an icon presents the option to change the status of each run/trip. If the run/trip is ready to go, the dispatcher can mark it with a green check mark and it fades from the list. If there is a mechanical or staffing issue, it can be flagged in red. If the run/trip has not been checked in by the scheduled departure time, it is automatically flagged as late with a red clock

10 Fleet Maintenance Integrated workflow helps you stay ahead of repairs through preventive maintenance. Traversa allows you to record the maintenance that occurs in the transportation department on a daily basis. Record work orders with details of what vehicle is to be worked on, the work that s being done, which parts are used and who is doing the work. Track preventive maintenance for each vehicle, so you always know what maintenance is scheduled to occur and when you should expect to have to complete that work. Use work orders to track parts, costs and progress. Activity Trips Management Traversa gives you the ability to record activity trips; you can enter trip information, plot the path on a map and specify who is driving and being transported on that trip. Your drivers will know where and when to go to complete the trip, and who needs to get there. Schedule available vehicles by finding which ones are already assigned to runs, all from within the same system. 10

11 Resource Management for Everything You Track It takes many different resources to run student transportation, and every person, vehicle, location and item comes with a unique history which must be recorded. When you need to know whether a bus has been recently worked on, or whether its driver has all of their certifications, or whether a student riding that bus needs special accommodation, Traversa can provide you with that information quickly and intuitively.
