The interested vendors/firms may send their quotes on or before 4 pm on 10 th April 2015 in a properly sealed envelope addressed to the JITS, CRAFT Room, Institute Block, JIPMER, Pondicherry-6. The envelope must be superscribed as Equipment for Smart Class Room. Item no. Please refer to www. for registration. Proof of registration must be sent with the quotation. 2. The firm should have a functioning service centre in Pondicherry and the address and the phone number must be given. 3. The price quoted should include 3 yr warranty and the license charges, if any. 4. Yearwise AMC charges and license charges to be paid yearly for 2 years after the expiry of warranty should be mentioned separately. 5. The unit price, all applicable tax amount and the total price must be clearly mentioned. 6. The quote should include all consumables including cables, electrical accessories, fittings, etc. The tenderers should not assume the availability of any item with us. 7. The quote should be complete with all labour charges, license charges, installation charges etc. No request for payment for any item not quoted in the tender will be entertained. All items needed for a FULLY working set up must be included in the quote. 8. Poor quality Chinese make products should not be quoted. Tenders quoting such products will be rejected without any consideration. Good quality and standard products with wide and long market presence should only be quoted. 9. Payment will be made on the successful demonstration of functions to the satisfaction of the JIPMER authorities and handing over a fully working set up. 10. MCU (Multi Conferencing Unit) - 1 (One) Specification for Multi Conferencing Software: Multi Conferencing Unit shall be video conferencing standards-based multiparty solution for on-demand or scheduled video meetings with 10 HD Port License support. The MCU shall support on a single call with each individual calling in from any standards-based video system, desktop or mobile device, or via Microsoft Lync. 1. The Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) shall support flexible capacity, allowing administrators to deploy anywhere upgradeable license to 70 ports of 720p video on a single x86 based platform running VMWare or Microsoft Hyper-V. 2. The MCU must be distributed as a virtual machine that can run on Microsoft Hyper-V 3. The MCU must be distributed as a virtual machine that can run on VMware ESXI. 4.
