2 Benefits and Sizes Placing a leaflet inside one of our print publications not only guarantees your business will be seen, but also that it will be seen by the right people. The leaflet has shelf-life retention so customers can put them to one side and use when appropriate for their needs e.g. plumbers, electricians etc. Vouchers and discounts can be included on your leaflet, increasing the chances of our readers taking up your offers. This print solution is the perfect way to control how you advertise and to whom. The option to insert into our publications is only available to two products per week, maximising the effectiveness of your leaflets. example example A5 A4 A4 Brochures available in 8 or 12 pages, for example.

We keep our audience engaged, so that you can reach your potential customers. Weekly Readers: 650,175 * Circulation Area Our readership spans all across the South East of England. Our newspapers report on local news in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex and Hertfordshire. In each county we reach an impressive proportion of people in the targeted areas. For example we reach; 60% of Sevenoaks, 50% of Chelmsford and 60% of Broadstairs every week. 4 Placing a booking Look through this Media Pack to establish which publications you would like to insert your product into. Please note; the indicated publication circulation must be fully inserted into. Prices indicated are for an A5/4 sheet product, prices for multiple sheet products can be obtained from customer.service@courier.co.uk. Once you have decided which publication you wish to insert you leaflets into, complete all the fields on a booking form which can be located at the back of this Media Pack or an electronic version can be ed from customer.service@courier.co.uk. the completed booking form to customer.service@courier. co.uk by 10am on Tuesday the week prior to the publication issue date you wish to insert into. You will then be contacted in order to finalise the booking details and to take a card payment if you do not have an existing account with Local World Ltd. Card payment must be made by 10am on the Wednesday prior to the publication issue week. Bookings can not be processed until full payment is complete. Your leaflets will need to be delivered to the below address by 5pm the Tuesday prior to the distribution week. Please note deliveries can only be made Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm. 10 Leaflet packaging requirements Packaging your product for delivery: The Product should be supplied on non returnable pallets of 1m x 1.2m with a cardboard layer placed between the pallet & bottom layer of insert to protect the product. The pallet must be stacked uniformly and corner protectors used. Mixed product formats/sized on a pallet will not be accepted. Product bundles can be secured with plastic strapping (No more than two) and film wrap for the pallet. Metal strapping will not be accepted. Product can be supplied in cartons/boxes - although additional handling charges may apply. Costs will be adviced after the product has been delivered. Payment of additional costs must be received prior to insertion of product. Maximum weight of one packaged carton/box = 13kg. Do not film wrap individual bundles. The product must be supplied dry and free from set-off. The leaflets must be flat, tightly folded and free of wrinkles. Leaflets must be stacked in the same direction OR in minumum turns of; 100mm for 2pp products 110mm for 4-12pp products 120mm for 16-28pp products 130mm for 28-64pp products 200mm for 64pp + products Labelling your product for delivery: Attach packaging lables to two adjacent sides of the pallet displaying the following information: Title of Newspaper (and region if applicable) Name of product Description of product Issue date of product Total number of product Number of leaflets on a pallet Number of leaflets in a bundle or carton Number of cartons or boxes Name, address and phone number of the printer

11 Terms & Conditions 1. Definitions The Company Local World Limited The Product the material to be distributed and more fully described in the quote. The Publication Date the issue date of the publication that the leaflets will be inserted into. The Distribution Date the date for commencement of distribution stated in the quote. VFD Verified Free Distribution Limited 2. In consideration of payment by the client of the sum due within thirty days of the date of the invoice, the Company shall distribute or arrange the distribution of the Product within the Area within ten days of the Distribution Date in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 3. Any order for distribution is subject to the client s warranty that: (a) the Product does not contain anything which is dangerous, constitutes an infringement of copyright, or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise illegal, and (b) it is either the owner of copyright (or has the right or licence to reproduce such copyright)in relation to the design, drawing, logo, artistic or photographic work, title, name, literary, dramatic, or musical work or other like material which is or may be contained or referred to in material which is or may be contained or referred to in the Product. 4. In the event that any complaint, claim, action, proceedings or prosecution is brought or made against the Company in respect of, or arising in any way from any matter or things appearing in or on the Product which is distributed by the Company, or in the event that the Product breaches any code, regulation or guidelines whether having statutory force or otherwise, and whether such complaint, claim, action or proceeding is settled, compromised or litigated in any way and as a result the Company incurs any costs, loss, damage, liability or penalty of any kind, the client shall indemnify the Company in full in respect of such costs, loss, damage or liability including any legal or any other costs incurred in relation thereto, and without exercising any right of set-off, counterclaim or cross-demand of any kind against the Company. 5. Unless agreed separately in writing by the Company in advance of confirmation of the client s order, the cost of distribution assumes that the Products are securely packed to the specification contained in the Media Pack Appendix I. The Company reserves the right in its absolute discretion to make a charge for Products incorrectly packed. 6. The Product must be delivered to the Company s delivery address by the deadline stated in Appendix I. 7. If the client wishes to cancel distribution of the Product, it must notify the Company in writing at least seven working days prior to the Distribution Date. The Company reserves the right to charge the client such sums as it considers, in its absolute discretion, to be reasonable in the event of the client cancelling the distribution. 8. The Company will use its best endeavours to deliver the Product to the full circulation number quoted in this media sheet. However, the Company is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, or liability incurred by the client or any third party howsoever arising in respect of any failure to deliver the full number quoted in circulation. 9. The Company is not obliged to check the quantity of the Product supplied for distribution or to accept the accuracy of any information shown on any delivery notes of the client or its agent but will so far as reasonably possibly notify the client if the amount of the Product falls short or exceeds the requirements of the agreed distribution. 10. In the event of a query or dispute concerning any part of an invoice, such part will be treated as severable from the remainder of the invoice(s) which shall be settled by the client in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 11. The Company reserves the right to reduce or cancel agreed discounts if payment is not made to the Company by the client in accordance with Clause 2 hereof. The Company also reserves the right to charge interest on overdue balances at the rate of 1.5% per month from the date upon which payment fell due to the actual date of payment. 12. The Company shall not be liable to the client for delay in performing its obligations or failure to perform its obligations if such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond its control including, but not limited to, force majeure, act of God, and failure to perform by third parties and/or sub-contractors, fire, explosion, accident or industrial disputes. 13. The client shall at all times be responsible for insurance of the Product whilst it is in the possession of the Company or its agents, employees, sub-contractors or authorised representatives. Risk in the Product at all times remains with the client. 14. These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parties and no amendments to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding on the parties unless agreed in writing by both of them. 15. No waiver by the Company of any breach of these Terms and Conditions shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision. 16. All complaints or claims by the client must be notified in writing within seven days of the relevant Publication Dates. In the event of a query or dispute concerning any part of the distribution of the Product or of an invoice, such part will be treated as severable from the remainder of the contract/invoice, and the balance of the invoice shall be paid by the client in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any complaints received by the Company from third parties shall be re-directed to the client, who will address such complaints promptly, without charge to the Company. 17. Cancellation of an order must be noticed before 12 noon, on the Wednesday prior to the week of distribution. The Company will charge a cancellation fee of 5.00 per 1000 items for orders which are cancelled. Revised and issued August 2015,
