1 Date: Submit the right documentation for your country The following is a list of what documentation is required based on what country you ve previously studied in. It s important to know what documents you need to submit in order to show that you meet the entry requirements to bachelor s level studies at universities in Sweden. Certified documents Please submit certified copies of your documents. Certified means that another person must sign their name, print their name and provide their telephone number on each document copy you submit. This person, by signing, is certifying that the copy you submit is an exact copy of the original. A friend, relative or government official can provide this certification for you. Authorised translations Unless these documents are in English, French, German, Spanish or one of the Nordic languages, you must also submit authorised translations of the documents into Swedish or English. English test requirement Many applicants require a test in English in order to demonstrate their English language abilities. For more information, see English language requirements. Other documents can help your application The documents listed below are only the most common upper secondary (high school) certificates, but we also accept other types of studies and certificates. Among these are vocational studies, older leaving certificates, etc. In general, if the studies you completed in a previous country make you eligible for university studies there, they most likely will make you eligible for university studies in Sweden.
