Objectifs: -Diffuser encore plus le produit de formation du projet Agri-Mutltifunctionality II -Sensibiliser les jeunes agriculteurs européens sur le concept de la multifonctionnalité -Fournir des preuves que ces pratiques peuvent améliorer la prospérité de l'économie rurale Impacts: -Améliorer les connaissances, le savoir-faire et les attitudes, en particulier celles liées à l'esprit d'entreprise et à l'agriculture multifonctionnelle -Aider les jeunes agriculteurs à débuter une ferme multifonctionnelle ou pour adapter leur ferme à la multifonctionnalité -Aider la durabilité sociale et économique des zones rurales -Éviter le vieillissement dans les zones rurales -Contraster le flux d'émigration des zones rurales vers les zones urbaines Résumé: Helping rural areas to meet the economic, social and environmental challenges of the 21st century has become an overall EU priority. The Rural Development Policy ( ) focuses on three thematic axes, of which especially the third axis improving quality of life and diversification of the rural economy promotes training, information and entrepreneurship for women, young people and older workers (EU Council Decision, 2006). Our project aims at addressing these priorities by disseminating, and thus providing to European young farmers, a training tool based on case studies designed to adapt a farm to the multifunctionality concept or to start a multifunctional farm The objectives of the project are: - To disseminate further the training product of the Agri-Mutltifunctionality II project; - To raise awareness among European young farmers on the concept of multifunctionality; - To provide evidence that these practices can improve economic and social sustainability of the rural areas; - To help young farmers to become greener in line with the Europe 2020 priorities and through the application of the multifunctionality concept on their farms. The project will be developed in the following implementation Work Packages based on different kinds of dissemination activities: - Dissemination through ICTs; - Mainstreaming; - Dissemination Events. The profiles of the core partners involved in the project are the following: 2

3 Information sur le projet : CEJA: is the European Council of Young Farmers. It is the voice of the young European farmers and gives them consultancy, training and orientation. It gathers 30 members associations from 24 European countries. GRANAFORMA: is a vocational and continuous training centre that has developed important programmes for farmers. The main aim of the MULTIFARM_EU project is to provide training and to inform young farmers on how to implement good agricultural practices for sustainability of their income and food security by disseminating the Agri-multifunctionality II project products. The dissemination, main implementation activity of the MULTIFARM_EU, will be carried out in the following actions: - Project information will be disseminated via mailing list; - Multifarm_Eu project s profiles/channels will be open on the most relevant social networks and video-sharing web pages: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Vimeo; - Two videos about different aspects of Multifunctionality will be edited; - New copies of the original project Products in USB-stick and DVD format will be edited too; - Vertical and Horizontal mainstreaming activities; - Specific and not specific dissemination events. In the Context of the Work Package 1 Management and Coordination the project applicant and coordinator will carry out the following tasks in order to achieve the project objectives on time and with a satisfactory quality: a) Financial and administrative management; b) Communication with the project partner, the external evaluator and the EACEA; c) Deadlines check; d) Editing of the project report. 8 Produit 'Multifuncionality Videos' Type de Produit: Film La diffusion de la multifonctionnalité dans l'union Européenne ( LLP Titre: Multifuncionality Videos Texte marketing: Two videos on spreading multifunctionality in the EU were created. Shot in Flanders and Wallonia in Belgium, these two videos featured case studies of young farmers discussing the advantages of implementing multifunctionality on their farms. The videos also included experts and policymakers on the subject of agricultural multifunctionality. Both videos are available in English and in Polish on the Project website, the CEJA Vimeo channel, the CEJA webpage, ad on the Project Facebook page. : The first video discussed multifunctionality in agriculture through the themes of agro tourism, environment and landscape protection, renewable energies and energy efficiency. Shot in Flanders, Belgium, the video included the following three people: Leen Gielis (Multifunctional farmer Farm t Alkeveld), Michael Gregory (Deputy team leader European Network for Rural Development ENRD Contact Point), and Jaroslaw Kalinowski (Member of the European Parliament, Group of the European People s Party Christian Democrats). The second video explored multifunctionality in agriculture through the themes of short supply chain, on-farm processing and direct selling. Completed in April 2015, the Multifarm_EU Project website has a current total of 2000 visitors (from April till August 2015), who learnt of the website through the Project conferences and newsletters. This number will increase with the continual dissemination of the Project products into the future. 11 Produit 'Multifarm_EU Project online training platform' Titre: Multifarm_EU Project online training platform Type de Produit: Matériel d'apprentissage Texte marketing: On the Project website a training platform comprising of a Training System is provided. This is available in English and Polish. The Training System is an online tool for European young farmers to facilitate their understanding and development of multifunctional activities in farming. It shows young farmers in practice how other farmers who had an idea of multifunctional farming have developed it, what problems they have had, what grants they received, how they started it up, and what the final results of the adventure were. : Included in the Training System are 50 case studies of multifunctional experiences from 20 European countries. The Training System also provides a teaching guide for teachers and tutors of multifunctional agriculture, a bibliography of relevant texts related to multifunctional agriculture, training, and other aspects discussed in the case studies, as well as a list of links to web pages of relevant bodies, institutions and organizations at national and European Level related to multifunctional agriculture. : Young European Farmers, teachers, and tutors. 13 Produit 'Project and project video dissemination via social media channels' Titre: Project and project video dissemination via social media channels Type de Produit: Méthodes de distribution Texte marketing: The two project videos and project products were disseminated through various social media channels to maximise their public visibility. : In order to reach the largest audience possible, the videos were mostly disseminated on CEJA's social media channels, which all already had a high number of viewers. These channels included Vimeo, the CEJA Twitter account (1932 followers), the CEJA Facebook page (3776 likes) and the CEJA website (350 daily visitors). On the CEJA Facebook page all other project products were also mentioned, such as the fairs and conferences. The discussion during the conference was particularly dynamic, and the conference attendees greatly appreciated the Project and the Conference. It was especially interesting for them to see the case studies of other farmers from their countries so that they could use their examples of multifunctional farming for further dissemination and perhaps also to apply them on their farms. The whole conference was conducted in English and all project promotional materials, programme and questionnaire were available in English. Speakers at the conference explored the benefits of implementing multifunctionality on farms, focusing on the advantages of higher income security for farmers and increased food security for society. The conference aimed to disseminate information about the project to Italian young farmers and featured high-level speakers from CEJA, includng Vice-President Paola del Castillo and staff member Frank Markovic, as well as President of CEJA member ANGA, Alice Cerutti. Speakers discussed the importance of multifunctionality for young farmers with the participants, explaining its benefits and potential for sustainability and economic security. Dissemination Conference in Spain Date A Multifarm_EU Conference took place in Ciudad Real, Spain. The conference aimed to disseminate information about the project to Spanish young farmers and featured speakers such as the direction of the Brussels office of Spanish farmer organisation ASAJA, CEJA Secretary General Kleopatra Sidiropoulou, and CEJA Vice President Paola del Castillo. The conference focused on the benefits of multifunctionality for European young farmers as well as how to implement it and best practices for the diversification of agricultural activities. The conference also encouraged participants to share their own experiences of agrimultifunctionality. 33 Événements Promotion of Multifarm_EU Project at the 'Agrotech' fair in Kielce, Poland Date On 7 March 2014, CEJA participated in the AGROTECH Fair in Kielce, Poland which ranks as one of the country's and region's top leading exhibition venues. The three-day event was attended by more than 50,000 people and the agricultural exhibition was spread across 60,000 square metres. With the help of the Polish Rural Youth Organisation, CEJA disseminated the Multifarm_EU project to the general public, farmers, experts and decision makers. By circulating a questionnaire CEJA found that71% of those sampled were farmers or studying to become farmers in the future.
