2 Introduction Austevoll EL-installasjon AS and AC Elektro Sp. z o.o. Austevoll EL-installasjon (AEI) and AC Elektro (ACE) are two electrical companies, who work closely together in Poland, Norway and other counties. The companies have common owners. The main business area is installation on ship and off-shore installations, as well as ship service, engineering and consulting within the same industry, but we are also involved in on-shore industry and housing projects from time to time. AEI s and ACE s main sectors are: 1) Ship and off-shore installations, including steel work for el installations in cooperation with other Norwegian contractors where AEI/ACE do parts of the electrical installation or rent out employees (electricians, etc.) to other contractors. 2) Service and upgrading jobs for ships and off-shore installations. 3) Engineering and consulting for shipping companies, suppliers of equipment to the industry, insurance companies and other institutions within the maritime industry. 4) Design and production of switchboards and cabinet for maritime and on-shore industry. 3 Co-operation between ACE and AEI Austevoll EL-installasjon and AC Elektro Our philosophy is to recruit and train electricians from the local market in Gdynia and Gdansk before they will be sent to work at projects outside Poland. All the electricians will have the necessary certificates for the Norwegian market when they work there (i.e. DSB, FSE and Hot work certificate, if required). AC Elektro has over 110 electricians, steel workers and mechanics employed, who most of time work with ship and offshore installations in Poland, Germany, Holland, Finland and Norway. So on-shore work is also going on. AEI organise work which is performed in the Norwegian market, and carries out engineering support to projects in the other markets. AEI is also doing engineering and consulting for ships and the offshore industry, as well as, engineering and consulting work for the on-shore energy market and housing and industry.
