2 Aircraft Accident Investigator, Naval Safety Center Lead investigator in a multitude of rotory-wing, fixed-wing, and tilt-rotor aviation mishaps. Supervised the Engineering Investigations of material components and engines pertaining to each mishap. Superintended the extraction of non-volatile memory sources including, but not limited to flight data recorders. Underwater salvage aircraft accident investigation; two shallow water and one deep water. Naval Safety Center s mishap investigations division manager. Supervised three civilian aircraft accident investigators in support of all Navy and Marine Corps aviation Class Alpha mishaps. Naval Safety Center mishap investigation team coordinator for NASA Space Shuttle Missions. Aviation Safety Manager Selected as the Aviation Safety Officer for deployment to the middle-east (WESTPAC 2001). Responsible for the safe operation and procedures of 24 Aircraft and 189 personnel. Primary squadron instructor for Crew Resource Management (CRM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and mishap investigations. Developed 23 technical reports on a wide variety of mishaps, material deficiencies, component failures and hazards to Naval Aviation assets. Aviation Quality Assurance Program Manager Hand selected to direct a quality assurance program designed to improve performance and productivity and decrease deficiencies within aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment. Supervised the development, training, and introduction of new aircraft system upgrades and modifications. Conducted the Operational Test and Evaluation of the aircraft systems and provided feedback to Boeing engineers. Liaison between Boeing aircraft engineers and Marine aviation assault support squadrons. CH-46E helicopter Flight Instructor, Instrument Examiner, and Crew Resource Management Instructor. Aircraft Commander/Flight Line Manager Managed a 41-person team operating and maintaining $216 million of helicopters and ground support equipment. Set and maintained standards for excellence in aircraft and equipment readiness; ensured the team s ability to provide combat capable aircraft through efficient maintenance practices. Helicopter aircraft commander with 86 combat missions in Iraq, awarded the Naval Aviation Air Medal. Aircraft Airframes Division Manager Managed and supervised the 16 Marine, Squadron Airframes Division in support of 12 CH-46E aircraft. Graduated from the Hazardous Material Handler Course and served as the squadron HAZMAT Program Manager.
