2 2 Overview of the highlights Version 9 brings lots of new features to the innovaphone PBX, which increase the power and versatility of the telephone system. One of these features is mypbx, flexible Unified Communications client which brings the telephone and even more communication to your computer easy to use with any web browser. Also new: the innovaphone PBX can also be operated as a Virtual Appliance this means increased flexibility, especially for Hosted PBX providers. The new application platform enables Linux applications to be easily operated directly on the innovaphone PBX hardware. This makes it considerably more difficult for hacker programmes to test passwords, also preventing the detested brute force attacks.
