List of our laboratories: The cost of studies In French public institutions of higher education, the State assumes most of the training fees (an average of 10,000 per student per year). Annual tuition fees : 181 / year in Licence/Bachelor 250 / year in Master s programs 380 / year in doctoral studies ( rates) Tuition fee exoneration for exchange students enrolled via bilateral agreements, Erasmus, CREPUQ or ORA programs. French health insurance protection provided by the Sécurité Sociale enables beneficiaries to obtain the reimbursement of a part of medical fees for a student subscription of 207 ( rates). This insurance is compulsory for non European students.

It provides pedagogical training for young teachers and undertakes research into education at an international level. The typical study itinerary From the L3 (final year of the Licence/Bachelor) level, the ENS de Lyon offers LMD type training - Licence (scientific Bachelor s), Master and Doctorate. AtoSiM course is jointly taught at the ENS de Lyon, at the Universiteit van Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and at the Università degli studi di Roma, la Sapienza (Italy). AtoSiM website : cecam.org 10 doctoral schools The doctorate can be co-directed with foreign university thesis director (cotutelle internationale de thèse). Each year, 80 doctoral theses are being defended. Currently, over 500 doctoral students are preparing their theses in the laboratories of the ENS de Lyon, within one of the 10 doctoral schools. I love life here and I prefer life in Lyon because it is a more practical and pleasant city than Paris for example.
