10 To expose the students an open up new opportunity for them in the area of Library Science management. Challenges: e-library development, and facility for android technology for e-books. 52. Future plans of the Department: Establishment of Computer Lab equipped with modern Library Software, Editing suits, audio and video tools and to train students to create, organize and disseminate different knowledge packages. Department is planning to start a PG Diploma on Library Automation and Networking as well as research programmes i.e. M.Phil. and Ph.D.
