2 Camp Director John Trask Coach Trask guided Wisconsin to it s first NCAA tournament berth in 18 years, making the tournament in He coached the team to its first post season win since the 1995 National Championship. In the process, Trask also extended the nation s longest active home unbeaten streak (14) as the Badgers knocked off UWM in the first NCAA tournament game played at the McClimon Soccer Complex in nearly two decades. Known for developing young talent in the United States, Trask s players accomplished a rare double, sweeping the Offensive (Tomislav Zadro) and Defensive (AJ Cochran) Player of the Year Awards in the Big Ten Conference. Cochran was named NSCAA 1 st Team All- American, and became the first Wisconsin player selected in the MLS SuperDraft (#16 Houston Dynamo) since The 2013 season marked the second time in four years the Badgers have reached 10 wins under the direction of Coach Trask who holds a coaching record in the NCAA Tournament. Trask began his coaching career at Indiana University under legendary Coach Jerry Yeagley. While an assistant at Indiana, he helped guide the program to Big Ten titles and Back-to-Back National Championships ( ). Then, as an assistant coach in Major League soccer (MLS), he aided the Miami Fusion to the 2000 Open Cup Final and the 2001 Supporters Shield (for best regular season record). In addition to operating soccer camps since 1982, Coach Trask has also worked extensively with the United States Soccer Federation and was appointed Assistant Coach for the U-23 National Team in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics. Trask has served as an Assistant Coach for the U-18 National Team which participated in the Sydney Youth Olympics, the Milk Cup held in Northern Ireland and most recently an International Tournament hosted by Israel in Tel Aviv. 3 Associate Camp Director Keith Tiemeyer Keith Tiemeyer completed his seventh season as an Associate Head Coach with the University of Wisconsin men's soccer program in Tiemeyer was vital in helping the Badgers earn 14 victories in 2013, the program's most wins since 1995, and guiding the Badgers to their first NCAA tournament berth in 18 years. Serving as UW's director of recruiting, Tiemeyer helped bring in the 13-man senior class that set numerous records in 2013, while also extending the nation's longest active home unbeaten streak (14) with a win over Milwaukee (Nov. 21, 2013) in the opening round of the NCAA tournament. Tiemeyer's efforts also helped both Tomislav Zadro and AJ Cochran earn 2013 Big Ten Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors, respectively, as the duo became the first pair of players from the same school to sweep the conference's top honors. After earning NSCAA All-American honors and becoming the first MACC Hermann Trophy semifinalist in UW history, Cochran went on to become the first Wisconsin player selected in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft since 2005, and the first player selected in the first round since Mike Gentile (1995). Under his watch, Wisconsin earned six shutouts in 2013 and also ended the regular season on a four-match win streak. Prior to arriving in Madison, Tiemeyer spent two years as the Head Coach at Regis University, his alma mater. In two seasons, Tiemeyer guided Regis, an NCAA Division II institution in Denver, Colo., to a record. After graduating from Regis with a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance in 1991, Tiemeyer became involved in the Colorado State Youth Soccer Association and eventually served as a coach and evaluator for the state's Olympic Development Program from 1998 to 2002.
4 Assistant Camp Director Ian Sarachan Set to begin his third season as an Assistant Coach with the University of Wisconsin men's soccer program, Ian Sarachan made an immediate impact in his first season helping the Badgers earn their first NCAA tournament berth in nearly two decades. In a role that includes recruiting, scouting, coaching and player development, among other things, Sarachan was instrumental in helping both Tomislav Zadro (2013 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year) and Nick Janus earn 2013 All-Big Ten honors. Sarachan also aided in UW achieving double-digit wins for the second time in four seasons, tallying 14 victories in 2013, the most at UW since the team won 20 in The Gurnee, Ill., native also helped the Badgers extend the nation's longest active home unbeaten streak to 14 matches in 2014, capping off the home slate with a win over Milwaukee on Nov. 21, 2013, UW's first NCAA tournament home victory since A rising young talent in coaching, Sarachan was asked to join the coaching staff for the U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team training camp and work with some of the nation's premier age-group talent during the summer of A former midfielder, Sarachan brings experience from both the professional and collegiate coaching levels to the UW men's soccer program. An assistant coach on the Galaxy's U-14 and U-16 teams, Ian Sarachan is the son of longtime MLS and U.S. Men's National Team coach Dave Sarachan. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Sarachan helped the Flames reach the Elite Eight of the 2007 NCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer Tournament. Following college, he joined the prestigious Wasserman Media Group as a sports agent to learn the business side of the game.

The camp boasts an excellent coach to camper ratio, and will feature small groups focused on individual technique and small-sided games. Campers will have the opportunity to work first hand with Wisconsin Soccer players and coaches. It is a great opportunity to learn more about soccer while having a fun experience. These camps are open to any and all male entrants within age restrictions listed above.

Whether you are looking to improve your technical skills, make your local club or high school team or are trying to advance your game to the college level, the University of Wisconsin Elite Soccer Academy can help you reach your goals. The Academy will feature a staff of coaches who have the experience and dedication necessary to help you develop on and off the field. High school age campers will also benefit from an optional college recruiting seminar detailing the recruitment process. The seminar will be presented by senior camp staff and will include a general recruiting Q & A session. Under current NCAA rules, graduated high school seniors are permitted to attend the boys elite soccer academy.
7 What to Bring to Camp Boys Elite Academy: Soccer ball (also available for purchase), street and soccer clothing, molded or turf shoes, flats or sneakers, shin guards and socks, water bottles, towels, toiletries, spending money, cell phone or calling card, and other personal items. Pillows, linens and blankets, air-conditioners, and refrigerators are provided in each dorm Badger Soccer Day Camp: Campers should arrive each day ready to play in soccer clothing including shin guards and socks. Soccer cleats, flats, or sneakers (for very young campers) are acceptable. Bring a soccer ball, water bottle, and snack. Full-day campers should also bring a sack lunch. Transportation/Parking: Parking for check-in and check-out may be provided but limited. Long-term parking is available for a fee. Please refer to UW Transportation Services for more detail. In the absence of camp staff, please adhere to all posted parking regulations. Vehicles are not available to campers during camp. Keys must be given to the camp director at registration and will not be made available for the duration of the camp. To obtain a parking permit, please call Transportation services at at least two weeks prior to the camp session. Security/Camper Conduct: Camp staff is present on the fields and in the dorms at all times during camp. However, the ultimate responsibility for behavior belongs to the individual camper. Misbehavior on the part of campers may result in expulsion without refund of camp fee as each and every camper is expected to conduct themselves in a proper manner. 8 Registration/Check-In/Check-Out Boys Elite Academy: Campers should arrive to register at camp between 12:00pm and 2:00pm on the first day of the session. Closing ceremonies will take place at 4:00pm on the last day of the camp session. Please arrive to pick up your camper in time to observe camp activities! Badger Soccer Day Camp: Campers should arrive as early as 8:00am and no later than 8:30am on the first day of camp. Tuesday-Friday, campers should arrive by 8:45am. Monday-Thursday, camp will conclude at 11:00am for Little Stars, 12:00pm for half-day campers and 4:00pm for full-day campers. Friday, camp will conclude at 12:00pm. Please arrive by 11:30am to observe closing ceremonies. Refund/Cancellation Policy: All refunds/cancellations must be requested via to no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the camp session. The Boys Elite Academy (residential and commuter) has a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee. The Badger Soccer Day Camp has a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee. 9 Facilities The site of the University of Wisconsin Elite Soccer Academy and Badger Soccer Day Camp is the University of Wisconsin- Madison, one of the finest academic institutions in the country as well as one of the most beautiful campuses. Located between two picturesque lakes, the university is situated in the rolling hills of the city of Madison. The UW soccer facilities provide many opportunities for quality soccer instruction. Among the fields available for use are the McClimon Soccer Complex and the University Bay Men s and Women s Soccer Practice Field, home of the UW Men's Soccer Badgers, as well as various soccer and athletic fields near the track and soccer complex. In addition to the soccer fields, Camp Randall Stadium and the artificial turf of the McClain Indoor Center are available as camp facilities.
10 Housing While at residential camp, players will reside in Cole Residence Hall conveniently located near the soccer fields. Each air conditioned room includes twin beds with bed linens and pillows, micro-fridges, desks, and cable television connections (via personal laptop or your own small TV) and shared bathroom facilities. Floor lounges include television and wireless internet. Laundry and vending machines are located within most halls. Meals provide a variety of youthfriendly and healthy selections, including vegetarian options. Special dietary requests can typically be addressed with sufficient advance notification.
