Ein Software Application Pattern (Ausführungsmodell) ist : Ein Modell für eine Multi-Server Umgebung beschrieben und dargestellt in einer Datei interpretierbar und ausführbar in dem Deployment Tool zum Austausch zwischen Entwicklern und Anwendern / Teams Software Application Patterns werden über den IWD für das PureApplication System definiert werden exportiert und importiert zum Austausch zwischen Teams und anderen Systemen sind in zwei Varianten verfügbar : Virtual Applications und Virtual Systems können in mehreren Systemen verwendet werden : PureAS, IWD and SCE 4
