2 The following features have been included as core functionality in this release: 1. PrintDesignTemplate.htm included in design package The ACM has always included a system level print design template but it was difficult to customize and usually required the manual creation of the printdesigntemplate.htm file in the Design Package. As of 10.1, the printdesigntemplate.htm file is included in the design package by default so it is easily customizable. The system will look first for this file in the design package and if it is not present, will use the system print template. 2. HTML Allowed in Survey Questions Due to some potential scripting errors, the ability to add custom HTML to Survey Questions was removed in a previous version. The functionality has been restored so that you can customize the look and feel of individual questions in your survey. 3. Assign New Accounts to Group(s) in Application Form Pagetype The ability to assign a new user account to a specific ACM Group has always been supported in the form of a Custom Group question type. The problem is that always requires an additional question. The Application Form page has been enhanced such that you can specify a group or groups to which all applicants should be added automatically without requiring a Custom Group question. The will speed up the account creation process for those who only require the minimum information to create an account. 4. Syndicated Calendar Enhancement A number of features have been added to the Syndicated Calendar Pagetype a. Allow Anonymous Event Submission As a Calendar Administrator, you now have the ability to allow anonymous users (not logged in) to submit events to a calendar. The previous functionality requiring users to login has also been maintained. b. Restrict Category Usage Events submitted or created on a particular calendar can now be restricted to only the categories that are configured for that calendar. This will prevent users from inadvertently selecting categories that are meant for other calendars, thus publishing their event on the wrong calendar. c. Events RSVP Short event RSVP forms can be created to accompany events. An administrator can create some predefined forms to capture a head count, gender, preferences and more for a particular event. Users with permissions to create new calendar events in edit mode can create their own custom forms or choose from the preconfigured options. Users submitting events through view mode can only

3 choose from pre-created forms. Administrators and the owner of the event can download the RSVP results in excel format to plan for event attendance. 5. Linking Documents to Images Linking an embedded image to an existing document in the digital asset manager used to require some HTML skill. In this version, you can now insert an image on a page, and then easily link to other documents in the digital asset manager through the user interface. This is perfect for representing documents by using an image of its cover embedded in the page, then linking to the document for download. 6. Support URL Title for Syndicated Pages Syndicated pages now include a URL Title field so that you can provide more concise paths for calendar events, job postings, articles and KB articles when using friendly URLs. 7. System Alert Framework A new Message Manager has been added to the Admin Center. Within the message manager, you can now modify the text of existing system messages such as the anonymous and authenticated session timeout messages as well as the session expiry alert. Additionally, as an administrator, you can send out a message to any and all users currently logged in to the system warning them of site maintenance or anything else. Custom messages supported by pagetypes will also be displayed here when they are available. 8. System Log Management An enhancement has been made to the System Events Manager so that administrators can configure the actions to occur when log messages get close to full. This has affected site performance in the past. Administrators can now specify a log limit and tell the system to overwrite logs as needed, overwrite messages older than X days or not overwrite at all. You can also configure different s to be sent to the system administrator account based on a log nearing its maximum count or a log generating excessive messages.
